My wife and I had our dream wedding fulfilled at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. The Banquet Team did everything possible to flawlessly execute our wedding plans and to address any and all of our requests throughout the ceremony and reception. Katherine Call and her staff were extremely expedient to our needs and attentive to all of the wedding planning details. And the most gratifying aspect of all was the peace of mind we had knowing everything would work out as planned so that we could truly enjoy our special day.

My husband and I would give Pine Lakes 15 stars if we could!! We got married at Pine Lakes on October 4, 2024 and EVERYTHING from golf the morning of the wedding to the clean up at the end of the night surpassed our expectations. We knew early on we wanted a venue that spoke to why we love Myrtle Beach so much, and Pine Lakes Country Club does exactly that. The historic beauty of this venue speaks from the parking lot, literally taking your breath away as soon as you drive up. Inside, the ballrooms perfectly combine history and romance; you can actually FEEL the love within the walls. We opted to have our ceremony out back beneath the patio, perfectly nuzzled between the beautiful garden and the 10th hole. The ceremony went off flawlessly, despite the last minute changes we needed to accompany our guests. Lindsay Condelli and her team went ABOVE and BEYOND at every single turn, never showing any stress and always thinking one step ahead. Lindsay is truly THE BEST at what she does, she deserves 500 stars out of 10. She felt more like an older sister than a vendor, supporting my husband and I throughout the entire process. Our guests are STILL raving about how delicious our buffet was! It was honestly the best food I have ever had at a wedding (and I’m not just saying that because it was mine!!) Mary Bell and her team curate hundreds of options for cuisine - from sit down options to individual stations, Pine Lakes really has it all. We opted for the Southern BBQ Buffet and added on Mashed Potatoes which were the SMASH HIT of the evening. The ribs and fried chicken were incredible and even our grandmas raved about the mac and cheese! Since we were out of town guests, we weren’t able to taste any of the food beforehand and we were seriously blown away. We are SO lucky to look back on our big day and only have good things to say about Pine Lakes Country Club. THANK YOU LINDSAY, MARY, AND THE ENTIRE TEAM AT PINE LAKES, we are forever grateful

By far the best place for some R&R in Myrtle Beach! There’s no other place I’d rather stay or will stay but here!!! Love!!!!!!!!!!

Helped me relax and stay calm

I thought the price was expensive at first but they really were worth every penny. To rent to room and to have arbor on beach was very inexpensive. The biggest cost was food. We had buffet which was DELICIOUS! The catfish was the best. My wow factors that surprised me was a picture in Lobby to say my name and wedding date, the champagne glassed with our names and date of wedding, they volunteer to pack us a to go plate without being asked. I like all those things because 1 I did not pay for them and 2 they surpised me and made me feel special which every couple should on their wedding day. We stayed at the hotel our room was included for Free because of reaching a number of guest rooms booked.

We really enjoyed having these lovely women take care of us. They explained the ceremony procedures even though I forgot 😐 Pastor Pam still directed us.

We had a sunrise wedding on the beach, and all of our family staid at Dunes Village Resort. They were very accomidating, and pleasant people. Everyone was pleased with their rooms, and they had an inside water park that the kids loved, since it was to cold for the beach. We had a couple problems, as far as having to switch rooms and a jacuzzi tub not working, but they were quick to try to resolve the problems and discounted our price even more. The onsite restuarant, Captains Cafe, put together a wonderful reception. Would highly recommend for a casual wedding.

My wedding was at the Island Vista hotel on 9.05.2009. When I called just to ask questions the staff was extremely pleasant! This was an out of state wedding for me. I really had liked the hotel online and really enjoyed speaking with them verses several other hotels that I had called in Myrtle Beach. I could not make it down there to physically check out the hotel, but my parents did. The staff at the Island Vista were so nice to my parents. My parents called me while they were down there checking out all the hotels that I thought that I would want to book. My parents were so pleased with the Island Vista at the beauty, accomodations, wedding planners, hotel Chef, Managers and support staff. My parents told me that I would be crazy not to book that hotel. So I did. When I called I spoke with Sheila, one of the event coordinators. She was wonderful. She gave me the names and contacts for local photographers, officants, bakeries, and florists. She also gave me her personal opinion on who she liked and where I could get the best deals. I took her advice and narrowed down my choices. I was so happy with the way that she treated me. The day that my family and I arrived at the hotel, the staff greeted us and began talking about the wedding! They all knew about it and were soo excited! Our rooms, well, they were beautiful. The hotel was so clean. The food was amazing. The wedding site could not have been more perfect. The hotel had set up an arch with flowers and white chairs. Behind us was the beach. Their section of the beach is more secluded. A little more private and not so crowded and super clean. The wedding dinner was perfect. We couldn't have been happier with our meals or our service. The guys that were serving us were so nice, had wonderful personalities, had fun with us and were completely professional. My entire wedding party was so happy and the hotel staff made us all feel so special. They were more than accomodating. We had such a beautiful wedding. It couldnt have been better. That was definetly the best decision that I had made about the wedding. I would recommend the Island Vista hotel to anyone who is wanting to get married. Especially, if you are having a small wedding. My entire party and guests, including my husband and I added up to 18 people and it was just perfect. Hotel guests watched the wedding and were in the room eating with us. It was great. It is a very family oriented place and you will feel like that staying there. I would recommed the Island Vista to anyone who just wants to go on vacation. We had a wonderful time and we are planning on returning to the Island Vista for our one year anniversary. Thank you Island Vista Staff, you were all amazing and you helped make the wedding of my dreams come true!! Thanks again. Stephanie Fridley
