I cannot say enough wonderul things about Velvet Bay from our first corresondance to wedding night. They are exceptional in every way. Professional, so easy to work with and they are incredible on wedding day. Their talent is amazing and the energy they bring is a 20 on a scale of 1-10. Our guests never left the dance floor all night, young and old. No one used the furniture we rented! We are looking for a reason to hire them again it was so much fun! I rarely write reviews but felt strongly about praising Velvet Bay. The ABSOLUTE BEST

It was a pleasure working with The Charleston Wedding Band as our wedding dj's! They made it super easy for me and were extremely responsive to my requests. Set up was a breeze, and they played great tunes off the custom playlists I provided, and took an audience request for a traditional Italian folk song! Great experience all around. Dan was a trooper! The lights and fog machine were an added bonus. Thanks for keeping the party going strong!

The College Center for Economic Development aka "Trident" was the perfect venue to hold my wedding party of 300 people. It was hard to find an indoor venue in the Charleston area to hold that many people. Trish and her team were very professional and very patient with me. They executed the logistics of the ceremony and reception flawlessly. Booking the venue itself is not that expensive but you have to use their caterer, Duvall Events which can get expensive. However, it is well worth the money. They have 3 spacious ball rooms and a lobby (perfect for cocktail hour), so you can have both the ceremony and reception in one place. Also, they don’t book any other events the same day so you can take full advantage of all the space for your décor!

17 South is an absolutely fabulous band! They played for our daughter's wedding and all of the guests had so much fun dancing to their amazing music-young and old!!! I could not have asked for a better band--they are extremely talented and very easy to work with throughout the wedding planning stages. Thank you 17 South for making this a magical night for our daughter!

Manny was extremely easy to work with, prompt with responses, answering questions and making recommendations. I let EEB handle everything: ceremony, cocktail hour, emcee, reception... We had guests from teenagers to the 70 somethings and the band accommodated everyone’s music choices so everyone got a chance at the dance floor...needless to say, there were complements about how good the band was.

Laura was the organist and singer for our wedding ceremony. Her playing and voice are so beautiful, the second we heard one song we knew she was the one for us. We were lost on what should be played for the ceremony. She went through a list of options and played each one for us to hear. She also played several different versions of each song to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. At the ceremony, she was on time, very professional, and wowed our guest with the music. Laura was fantastic!

A rocking band! They tailored their play list to our low key luncheon. We have received many rave reviews from friends!

Andy Masker and his band were amazing at our wedding. We went with them because we wanted a band that has played together for a long time. A lot of the other bands we looked at were a collection of musicians, so you didn't know who you would get on the day. I think that made a huge difference, as we knew who would be playing and the chemistry was clear to see. So many of our guests raved about their performance, and it truly made the evening!

I believe the title speaks for itself! If you are looking to have the most fun at your wedding, hire this band!! Not only are they extremely professional, they make everything look effortless. They are truly talented. Our guests are still telling us how much they loved the band and how much fun they had on our big day. As a couple, we really wanted to throw the best party for all our friends and family, Jakob Kendrick Band was the cherry on top of this party! Thank you for everything, we appreciate it so much!
