We hired Dennis to play at our wedding and throughout the whole process he was wonderful! Worked with our budget and timeline, and played beautifully at the wedding; we got many comments of "where did you find this guy??" as everyone enjoyed his singing and playing. He learned "The Muse" by the Wood Brothers for our first dance and even sent along a video of it for us to keep! Highly recommend this gentleman - can't praise him enough

What to say about Andrew Thielen Big Band? Being from Charleston, it felt like a piece of home I was bringing with me to my wedding. I currently live in Florida, but our wedding was at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC which not only is within the travel zone for the band, but they had even played this venue in the past and that was a huge reassurance that they were familiar with the venue and grounds. They have played Saturday Night Live and Betty White's birthday event- so that was all the resume I needed! Andrew was an absolute pleasure to work with- he communicates very easily over email and was able to discuss with me everything down to timing, decor, song lists, band options and add ons, and the actual contract over the phone. The band absolutely brings down the house! I had multiple wedding guests come up to me and say that this was by far the best wedding band they'd ever heard and most impressive stage set up, and also the crowd was dancing until the very end of the night! For the wedding, I used/; Hornpipe Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring Canon in D Trumpet voluntary (bride processional) Recessional : Marvel Avengers theme (they killed it!! everyone loved this!) the jazz trio for cocktail hour was awesome. For our first dance, Andrew wrote a new arrangement for “It’s been a long, long time” a version that would be 1 minute and 49 seconds long for us. Truly, everything was a dream. A very fun dream. If I had a way to do it all again, I'd hands down choose them again!

I can not say enough good things about Bill. He played the steel drums for our daughters wedding last night and the music was beautiful! Bill is a very talented musician, and a pleasure to work with, Very professional and dependable. I must also mention that we had to call on him 1 week before the wedding because the scheduled musician backed out on us. Bill not only worked it out to play for us, but he did so on his own anniversary. I highly recommend Jolly Mon/ Bill Willets any time you need steel drums for your event!!

Paul and band are true pros. He actually helped us plan! They also performed the wedding music and were great. I would choose them over any other band in the area.

We booked Julio and the Saltines for our wedding after an extensive search for a real rock n' roll band to play our reception. We love live music, going to shows, having dance parties, and we are musicians ourselves, so the music component of our wedding reception was one of the most important decisions we made while planning our wedding. After watching a short promo video on their website, we realized they were the perfect band for us! Their agent, Andrew, was awesome to work with and was a great communicator. He worked alongside our coordinator, Julia, on all of the equipment, microphones, flow of the day and MC'ing, and did a great job relaying our needs to the band. As we got closer to the big day, we were connected with Matt, the band leader. He was so great to work with and listened to all of our ideas and requests with enthusiasm and positivity. He made himself available to answer any questions we had and run ideas by him. He was so receptive to our vision for our day and made us confident that all would run smoothly. When it came to our wedding day, Matt and the guys handled all of our technical needs for our ceremony perfectly, nailed our grand entrance announcement (to Do Ya, by ELO of course!) and kicked off our dance party that had everyone moving all night long! One of my biggest wishes was to dance with everyone and barely leave the dance floor, and that was 100% accomplished thanks to Julio and the Saltines. Not only was I having a blast, but everyone was dancing all night long. The volume was perfect, they never missed a beat, and kept the energy up the entire set. They even covered several songs despite a last-minute list, which I will forever be grateful for!! One of the most special moments of the night was our private last dance, for which they played Harvest Moon by Neil Young. I will never forget their rendition, and how completely perfect and special they made that last dance for us. It has been about 2.5 weeks since the perfect day, and our friends and family have not stopped talking about how incredible Julio and the Saltines was. They gave us such an incredible night and one that I think everyone will remember for a very long time. All this to say, do yourself a major favor and book Julio and the Saltines for your next event, and support them at their shows around the Carolinas if you can! Thank you, guys, for giving us the dance party of a lifetime!!
