We booked Julio and the Saltines for our wedding after an extensive search for a real rock n' roll band to play our reception. We love live music, going to shows, having dance parties, and we are musicians ourselves, so the music component of our wedding reception was one of the most important decisions we made while planning our wedding. After watching a short promo video on their website, we realized they were the perfect band for us!

Their agent, Andrew, was awesome to work with and was a great communicator. He worked alongside our coordinator, Julia, on all of the equipment, microphones, flow of the day and MC'ing, and did a great job relaying our needs to the band.

As we got closer to the big day, we were connected with Matt, the band leader. He was so great to work with and listened to all of our ideas and requests with enthusiasm and positivity. He made himself available to answer any questions we had and run ideas by him. He was so receptive to our vision for our day and made us confident that all would run smoothly. When it came to our wedding day, Matt and the guys handled all of our technical needs for our ceremony perfectly, nailed our grand entrance announcement (to Do Ya, by ELO of course!) and kicked off our dance party that had everyone moving all night long! One of my biggest wishes was to dance with everyone and barely leave the dance floor, and that was 100% accomplished thanks to Julio and the Saltines. Not only was I having a blast, but everyone was dancing all night long. The volume was perfect, they never missed a beat, and kept the energy up the entire set. They even covered several songs despite a last-minute list, which I will forever be grateful for!! One of the most special moments of the night was our private last dance, for which they played Harvest Moon by Neil Young. I will never forget their rendition, and how completely perfect and special they made that last dance for us. It has been about 2.5 weeks since the perfect day, and our friends and family have not stopped talking about how incredible Julio and the Saltines was. They gave us such an incredible night and one that I think everyone will remember for a very long time.

All this to say, do yourself a major favor and book Julio and the Saltines for your next event, and support them at their shows around the Carolinas if you can!

They handled everything from the actual ceremony music to cocktail hour and then the reception. Their set up is clean, sound is good and song selection varied. Not your run of the mill wedding band. It’s been a week and a half and I’m still getting messages about how great the band was. In addition to being talented musicians they are also very accommodating and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. Even willing to learn new songs. Seriously great group of guys. 10 stars. Highly reccomend.

They are absolutely awesome people with great talent! Everyone was dancing to the music and they can cover a wide range of songs. Julio, the lead singer, has an amazing voice and all the songs he covers sounds just like the original songs. We had a blast and we recommend this band to all our friends. If you need a wedding band please please book them. They are absolutely awesome!!

Hiring Julio and The Saltines was the best decision we could have made for our wedding!!!! They play a wide variety of music that everyone of all ages could dance to!!! We hired Julio and the Saltines for my wedding in December of 2022. They rocked the house! My guests were dancing and singing from the first song until the last! They play every genre you can possibly imagine. They are a breeze to work with. Matt was prompt in his responses to all of my calls/texts/emails. They are true professionals and their sound quality was impeccable! Julio and the Saltines truly made our night!

When we were planning our wedding there was one thing we had as a top priority...a live band. We were extremely picky about who was going to make sure our wedding was high energy but heart felt. Julio and The Saltines blew every single one of our expectations out of the water! There was never a moment where people were not dancing! We gave them a difficult venue to perform at (all outdoors, limited power, and multiple music setup locations) and they handled it like true professionals. They provided us with microphones for our ceremony, lights for the dance floor, and music that made our reception out of this world! OH! THE BEST PART! They let me close out our event by letting me sing "Bohemian Rhapsody" which was the most talked about memory from the wedding.
Go see these guys once and you will understand why they are the biggest party in the entire state of South Carolina!

I had lost my wedding band a few weeks before my wedding and after frantic searching found Julio and the Saltines. They were fantastic to work with, very straight forward, easy to contact, everything pre-wedding was so smooth. It was so nice to not have to worry about this vendor when I had a million things on my mind.
This band absolutely blew our mind at the reception. With very little instruction they ran the reception beautifully with introductions and announcements and first dances. Then their music was out of this world. The sound was fabulous, they were SO talented. The lead singer Julio has an incredibly large range and did so many different types of songs perfectly. We had a blast, everyone was dancing from the first song. They even allowed my husband to join them for his favorite karaoke song and winged it with no problem. On top of all of that, they were so nice. Really wonderful people. Please please please book this band, you won't regret it.
