Tru Sol made our wedding night. They were amazing, played every song we could have imagined and more! The whole band made the two of us feel incredible special and we can’t wait to see them again!

Wow. Hiring Tru Sol Band might have been the best decision we made for our wedding. I was not sure what to expect since we live in Brooklyn and planned our out of town wedding in Charleston remotely, meaning we didn’t get to hear them live before our wedding day. My husband and I are both big music people and I was nervous. We had a lot of songs on our do not play list (no Taylor Swift! No Black Eyed Peas!) and some very specific requests for our first dance song (Frank Ocean’s cover of Moon River) and entry song (that horn refrain from Spottieottiedopalicious—which we asked for super last minute). Sheryta and her incredible band not only made these things happen—they absolutely CRUSHED IT. Prince! Marvin Gaye! Cardi B! We had an epic dance party going all night long that people still can’t stop talking about months later. The energy, technical skill, deep catalogue, and all around joy of this band is palpable, and helped make our wedding the dreamiest day ever. Full horn section, three vocalists, fantastic beats, I just can’t say enough. And the price is so good. Hire them! Hire them now!!!

An awesome experience - Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! This band was more than we could have ever imagined. They brought such a great vibe to the wedding and people did not want to get off the dance floor. They started playing at 7:45 and did not stop until 10:00 pm. I've been to some weddings where the band takes a break every 30 minutes. There was no lull and they were so fun. Almost every guest said it was the best wedding band they've ever heard. They are perfect for a wedding. Don't hesitate!!

Tru Sol was simply fantastic. The outstanding comments from our guests at our daughter's wedding were so encouraging. Working with Tru Sol members was a positive experience; and the excitement they brought to our event was amazing. Tru Sol is clearly a first-class band that I would recommend to anyone who wants a band that adds value to your event.

Tru Sol was our wedding band and they were amazing! Our guests all raved about how wonderful they were and our danced floor was packed the entire night. True professionals and so fun!

Tru Sol is undeniably a good band. That is why we hired them to play at our daughter's wedding reception. However, when it comes to their business practices, they leave a lot to be desired. By their own admission, Tru Sol fell way short on some major responsibilities that were contractually agreed upon and ended up causing a lot of uncomfortable moments for the bride and immediate family during then reception. Tru Sol refused to compensate us for these shortcomings- NOTHING was done, other than admitting that indeed the short comings had occurred and they were sorry. In fact, they threatened to take us to court if we did not pay in full. A good, reputable band or business would not react in this manner. They would do something- be it monetary, a favor, but SOMETHING, to make the shortcomings , right.
I would never recommend that you do business with this band. And if you do, make certain that you get ALL expectations in writing and have someone make sure that all expectations are met- time band contracted to play, number of breaks that they will take, how long those breaks will be. Make sure YOU have protection and documentation when they fall short of their contracted agreement, because they will never make it right.
