The College Center for Economic Development aka "Trident" was the perfect venue to hold my wedding party of 300 people. It was hard to find an indoor venue in the Charleston area to hold that many people. Trish and her team were very professional and very patient with me. They executed the logistics of the ceremony and reception flawlessly. Booking the venue itself is not that expensive but you have to use their caterer, Duvall Events which can get expensive. However, it is well worth the money. They have 3 spacious ball rooms and a lobby (perfect for cocktail hour), so you can have both the ceremony and reception in one place. Also, they don’t book any other events the same day so you can take full advantage of all the space for your décor!
