I hired Motown Throwdown for a company holiday party that had around 1,700 attendees. Working with Mike was an absolute pleasure! He was well organized and setting up meetings were very smooth. As for the band, they absolutely exceeded my expectations! Every song was exceptional, and the music itself was fantastic! I will definitely be hiring them again!

If I could give Motown Throwdown more than 5 stars for being the best band for our wedding, I absolutely would! I could not have dreamed of a more perfect match for the type of party we were trying to throw. Going into our wedding, the most important thing to us was having a live band that people would love dancing and singing to, and they were that and more. They are true rock stars! The vocals of the lead singer were insane, the instrumental solos made it feel like you were seeing some of your favorite classic bands playing in real time, and the energy they brought was unmatched. I had so many guests telling me it was the best wedding band they've seen, and I couldn't agree more. There were times people stopped dancing because they were so entranced by the talent on the stage, and at the end of each song, the crowd enthusiastically applauded like they were at a live concert. They were great when it came to song selection and modifying our first dance songs (because we don't have the skills to dance for very long). It also felt like they were sincerely just as happy to be sharing in our joy, and I gave them huge hugs of gratitude. Book them for your special event!!

As a musician myself, I’ve played enough gigs to know what separates a good band from a truly exceptional one, and Motown Throwdown is in a league of their own.They performed at my wife and I’s wedding, and I can say with absolute certainty that finding a better band within 250 miles would have been near impossible.
Our guests still talk about that night and "how good the music was". Their song choices was spot on for young and old to have fun, the band was on FIRE, my wife could not stop dancing and had the time of her life (which was the goal).
Michael who produces the band was incredibly professional and communicative with us throughout the whole process leading up to the big day. He knew exactly which questions to ask so that the band could tailor what they do to our wedding, and the day of logistics went perfectly thanks to that.
All in all, I can't recommend Motown Throwdown enough, they made the best day of our life the best party of our life!
