Imperio Alemán is owned by Abdel Alemán and he is one of the most creative and professional wedding planners you will ever meet. He took care of every detail before and during the event. He made the experience a breeze and we were planning our wedding in Puerto Rico while living in Massachusetts! The day of the event, both my husband and I were blown away by his set up and the ambiance he brought to our venue. The night flew by and we just kept wishing we could relive the entire experience.

Damaris is a fabulous wedding planner. My husband and I had a destination wedding in Puerto Rico and Damaris made our dreams a reality. From the time she took us to go look at wedding venues in early 2020, through several COVID postponements, even months after, she has been wonderful. I am very type-A and probably (definitely) wasn’t the easiest bride to work with, but Damaris was so flexible, gave lots of suggestions and was SO gracious! She pulled everything (venue, florist, DJ, plenero, HMUA, videographer, and photographer, etc) flawlessly. She was even totally on board with our non-traditional ideas (i.e. flower/rum man and Lechon cutting ceremony instead of cake, lol and made them happen. She also had a contingency plan for rain (and by god did it rain — they say it’s good luck!) and made the entire day stress-free. Damaris and her team also made our guests feel super welcome and even went out of her way to help us purchase items and assemble our welcome bags. She really went above and beyond. Also, huge shoutout to bridal assistant, Gabby! She was literally at my beck and call at every moment, making sure every piece of hair was in its place, dress and veil perfectly placed. She really made me feel special — and even made sure I had a nice rum to calm the nerves before walking down the aisle! Damaris + her team are the dream!
