This place was absolutely amazing! Vicky who is in charge was simply wonderful! The staff how ever had some attitude but I guess that is how the newer generation is going to be. A little disappointed in the food quality. Chicken Marsla should be made with more than just pouring cream of mushroom soup straight out of the can. Vicky herself and the place were 10/10! I think some of the hired help should have a better attitude.

The zoo was the perfect place for our wedding celebration. We were looking for a venue with a whimsical charm, and the zoo really pulled that off. From the Formal Gardens to the Malawi Event Center, each space gave our guests something unique. The guests loved the Giraffe feeding deck, the carousel, and the wall-to-wall fish tank. The only slightly negative experience we had was that the planning/scheduling is not designed for out-of-town couples. We would have liked to have had our food tasting dates and final meeting dates set out more in advance, given that we live out of the country and had to take time off work and travel. Shout out to the catering team that went above and beyond to accomodate multiple allergies and food restrictions. They were able to alter the menu to make all the food as inclusive to all dietary requirements. We requested that they source vegan dinner rolls, modify the mashed potatoes and carrots to be vegan, and puree a meal, which they accommodated with no issues. We found the catering team very helpful and willing to work with us. Our day of team was also spectacular. Hadassah, Ashley and Tina worked with our day-of coordinator to ensure everything went smoothly. They also made sure we had everything we needed including food and drinks delivered to my wife and I. The zoo was very LGBT friendly and we truly felt welcomed and supported throughout the planning process. Overall we were thrilled with our choice, and our guests can't stop talking about how great the wedding was.

This cathedral is so awe inspiring it doesn’t need any sort of extra decoration. We were so happy to be married here!

The Toledo Club was exactly what I was looking for when it came to theme of our wedding & the price was just an added bonus! Not to mention I know the pictures will be FIRE because of the clubs interior. They were also super flexible when it came to making our own plan and my husband and I were club members leading up to our wedding so we made tons of memories before our big day🤍 10/10 would choose every time, thank you Toledo Club!!

Perfect for large parties and to have everything in one place. We held our reception here, our after party and our brunch and all of our guests could enjoy the venue and stay the night there without worrying about driving or transportation to any place else! We had 4 different coordinators throughout all of the covid situation in 2020 but the Renaissance was so flexible about rescheduling, refunding and booking our 2021 date! Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and congenial! Our last coordinator was Allie and she was an absolute joy to work with! The director and other coordinators present the day of were phenomenal! All hands on deck to make our day special and comfortable for all of our guests! The ballroom is beautiful, MASSIVE, and the food is incredible! There was some confusion with the brunch staff and the amount of bars for our cocktail hour but everything worked out! As I said the coordinators are very responsive! Would recommend this venue to any couple but especially those with large guest lists and/or id you have a lot of guests coming in from out of town!

Tina with the Inverness Club did an outstanding job meeting our expectations and needs for our daughter's wedding. She orchestrated the chairs, tables, table clothes, etc. with Bartz Viviano so that we one less worry. The catering was exceptional! The service was professional and kind! Best option for our family! Thank you to Tina and the whole fantastic team at the Inverness Club in Toledo Ohio!

Best food and amazing prices 10/10 would recommend. Only issue was the bar shut down ten minutes before we closed. Michelle was absolutely amazing to work.

The Great Gallery in the Toledo Museum of Art is a beautiful venue to have a wedding ceremony if you do not prefer to have a religious ceremony.

The Sullivan Center is a hidden gem! I am not sure why more couples do not hold their wedding receptions here! Diana is wonderful to work with and easy to get a hold of. The hall itself is neutral and big enough to hold plenty of people comfortably (our reception was about 260). The dance floor is huge and split down the middle of the hall so everyone is able to see without having to stand up or being right on the dance floor. There is plenty of parking and there is security for the duration of the event. I 100% recommend this hall for your wedding reception, you will not regret it!
