Couples may host up to 500 wedding guests at the Toledo Zoo for their ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners. Both couples and guests will adore this classic modern venue with extravagant, beautiful creatures and sounds. Couples may hold their ceremony in the tranquil Formal Garden amongst luscious, vibrant plants or in various other settings around the park. The Toledo Zoo offers their hardworking staff to help you with your wedding day needs. An on-site event planner will help coordinate your wedding and couples may rent event items, such as audio equipment, chair covers, chairs, a dance floor, and tables. The Toledo Zoo also has a liquor license and offers in-house bar services, which includes bartenders, a cash or open bar, house beer, wine, and liquor, premium liquor, specialty beer and wine, a champagne toast, and a signature drink. Cuisine
The Toledo Zoo will provide in-house catering for your wedding events. They offer buffet, plated, stations, hors d’oeuvres, and family serving styles, as well as cocktail reception services. Rehearsal dinners come with a custom menu; couples may choose to hold their dinner in a private room or private section of the zoo. Talented culinaries would be proud to create delicious dishes for couples, including chicken marsala, eggplant or chicken parmesan, rib eye, New York strip steak, and much more. From start to finish, the staff was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. Their positive attitudes and clear communication made the entire planning process stress-free, and on the wedding day everything flowed seamlessly. It was such a relief knowing we were in good hands.

Fun and Unique Venue in Toledo
I really loved how much is included in the wedding packages offered by the Zoo (from bar service - to catering - to linens) which made it easy and breezy to plan the wedding!
Gina, Faith and the events crew were all so great to work with. They were very organized and everything went wonderfully.
This November we had our ceremony and reception in the Malawi Event Center which was so gorgeous! The reception area has a 70ft long aquarium in the room, which added so much charm. Between the ceremony and dinner we opted to have the carousel open for our cocktail hour, which made for great photos and lots of fun.
Overall we received so many compliments how fun our wedding was, and we couldn't dare to disagree!
