Wedding Musicians in New York

Natalie was such a wonderful addition to our wedding day! She played the violin at both our church wedding ceremony and our day of ceremony at the venue and cocktail hour. Her music was such an elegant touch to the day. Natalie was professional, responsive and so easy to work with. She checked in several times to make sure everything was going to be perfect for our day and it was. I would highly recommend to have Natalie as part of your celebration!

Stephanie was an absolutely fantastic addition to our wedding. She was willing to work with us to find the perfect music for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. All of the guests raved about the music, I highly recommend her for your harp needs!

Dwayne Beach of Jaguar Strings was an absolute pleasure to work with. I hired Jaguar Strings as the pre-ceremony entertainment for my wedding. Additionally, he played the procession song for the opening of my ceremony. Having live music for guests as they entered, as well as for my bridal party’s entrance made the moment feel so magical. His professionalism throughout the entire booking and performance process was commendable. He maintained a correspondence with me leading up to my wedding day, providing me with video/audio footage of him rehearsing the procession song I requested. He is extremely talented at his craft. My guests were raving about him! My only regret is not hiring his entire quartet to play for my cocktail hour!

Edward was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. Beyond being a remarkably talented musician, he is kind, calm, professional, and an all-around wonderful person to collaborate with. Edward played violin for our ceremony this August at Pier 17 in New York City. Before meeting Edward, my husband and I had no idea what music we wanted to play for the ceremony, or how we’d handle audio in an outdoor public plaza. This didn’t faze Edward in the slightest—always prepared, he shared a list of more than 500 songs (spanning classical music to pop) for us to choose from, with the option to request a song if we had something special in mind. He even had is own AV equipment and extra lapel microphones in case our officiants needed them. Edward’s patience, professionalism, and creativity make him the ideal person to work with. He coordinated directly with our Day-of Coordinator to handle all logistics, so my husband and I never had to worry about the ceremony run-of-show. He even arrived early to reserve our ceremony spot on the pier! The AV equipment he brought worked perfectly: despite the city noise around us, every guest could hear him clearly, and his music set the fun, romantic atmosphere we had envisioned. Edward went above and beyond in every possible way and we are so grateful, it truly meant the world to us.

Bethanie made the most beautiful, most delicious cake for us! She was so sweet and fun to work with and was very open to my husband's picky taste. He's a designer and wanted something exquisitely designed and Bethanie gave us that. We were even on a tight deadline and she worked with us through a few revisions of the design before it was perfect. And she delivered for a price we could actually afford. She was professional and a joy to work with. Also her patisserie where she makes all the deserts is adorable and a wonderful place to visit and talk over ideas. Our guests were really blown away at how gorgeous and tasty our cake was!

The band leader was very communicative and very easy to work with prior to my wedding last November. We throughly discussed song selections and she patiently answered all of my questions regarding music arrangements for a quartet. The musicians were extremely professional and well-dressed for my black tie optional dress code. Their performance during the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and fitting. There are many vendors that offer strings when booking a band but you truly cannot compare the quality of the musicians at other vendors with Hire Juilliard. You would be remiss not to go with Hire Juilliard if you’re in the NYC area.

Arjana and Ivan completed our party — they are both extremely talented and warm. They did a particularly great job accommodating our requests and making all of us feel special. We highly recommend these musicians for any of your events.

The Live Digital Paintings done by the artists during our wedding reception were so flattering and quickly drawn! All the guests raved about their illustrated portraits and we saw them all on Instagram using our hashtag (my husband and my names combined). This is such a great idea and we're so happy to have had it at our wedding. Thank you to the whole team at Etta Shon Arts!

We dealt with Veronica the harpist and she was brilliant through the whole process. She always responded swiftly and was very accommodating with requests. My family is Irish and we wanted a lot of traditional airs for the cocktail hour and Veronica was delighted to play our requests. Our guests were blown away with having a harpist and I only wish I had a chance to thank her personally on the day. She made our day that more special and memorable. It was absolute class having the harp. We want to hire the duo again for my wife's 30th birthday!

My wife, Suzanne, and I were looking for a pianist to perform during our cocktail hour. We found Chris on a different website and he was fantastic. Early on we had some special requirements from our venue which Chris worked with us to help figure out and resolve to ensure he could be there on our wedding day, entertaining guests at our cocktail hour. He added a perfect touch which our guests raved about. Chris arrived promptly and performed from start to finish. We were so happy to have him there on our special day and would highly recommend!
