I hired Michi (an NYC violinist) for my brother’s wedding. It was my first time hiring a violinist for a wedding, so I was a bit unsure of what to expect.
From the moment I contacted Michi via email regarding her availability and pricing, she was professional and attentive. She scheduled a phone call to explain everything in detail and answered all of my questions. She guided me through her services and provided recommendations based on the details I shared about my brother’s wedding. She also sent me a list of songs from her repertoire, which made the selection process much easier. Overall, she made the entire process extremely smooth and was always prompt in responding to my messages.
A few days before the wedding, she reviewed all of the details with me again and made sure I knew I could reach out if I wanted to make any changes.
On the day of the event, she arrived on time as planned. She thoughtfully provided relaxing music for guests who arrived early, creating a wonderful atmosphere before the ceremony began.
When it was time for her performance, she did an outstanding job. My guests were very impressed, and the bride and groom were absolutely delighted by her talent.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Michi as our violinist for both our Nikkah ceremony and cocktail hour, and she was truly fantastic. Despite a delay in our ceremony, Michi was incredibly accommodating and graciously stayed an extra hour without issue. Michi coordinated to surprise my girlfriend in Central Park. I was flying in from California and didn’t have an exact spot for her to meet at until really the day of. She worked with me and the photographer to find the exact spot which can be stressful. Michi made it extremely easy and kept very good communication the days leading up to it. She played beautifully and we were very happy with the experience.
