I got married Jan 6th 2018 on the coldest day of the year! Following few days it was 50*, go figure. Anyway, I had an enormous amount of people from out of town attending our wedding, we live locally and the Hyatt in Morristown offered a room rate block for 2 nights! Typically I find hotels offer night of the wedding, but they were able to provide that rate for fri before the wedding as well! This was amazing for my guests who were staying a few days. Not to mention Morristown has alot to offer out of town guests and public transportation to NYC! I worked with Sarah and Karina and they were both LOVELY! Always accessible and always kept in touch. I had my room block fill up 3 times and asked for extensions each time. They were even accommodating when the dead line was over to help me find rooms for family and friends who procrastinated! I made gift bags for guests as they checked in (which was a hit)...the downstairs bar was a great place for us all to meet up in between events and breakfast the next morning was a nice way to end our wedding weekend! We did not do a sit down, we just paid as people woke up and came down that way people who wanted to be on their way could leave. Karina made the days leading up to my wedding stress free and kept me in the loop with check ins. Based on the amount of people who booked rooms I was able to snag a COMPLIMENTARY shuttle service to and from our wedding venue which was a HUGE plus! They also offer the bride and groom a complimentary studio suite night of the wedding with a bottle of champagne. Everything was great and most of all EASY! We even had our rehearsal dinner right across the street at Olive Lucy's so noone had to drive anywhere. You can read that review as well =)

From start to finish, they were genuinely awesome. They picked up napkins for our guests, packed all of our décor for us at the end , and always had water ready when we needed it. They even held our wedding suits and décor, which took a huge amount of stress off our plate. Every vendor they recommended was excellent, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The continental breakfast was a small thing, but it ended up being really helpful for our guests the next morning. The maître d deserves special mention; kind, seamless, and incredibly professional. Everything felt handled without ever feeling rushed or impersonal. There are honestly too many thoughtful details to list, but what stood out most was that they made us feel heard, valued, and respected throughout the entire process. That may sound obvious, but it’s rare. It meant everything to us. Stephen & Ashley

We had a great experience using The Westin Governor Morris for our hotel block for our wedding! The pricing was reasonable, the communication was great, and they were very helpful throughout the entire process. My guests said the rooms were clean and hotel staff were very nice as well! The shuttle driver even called me to make sure he was not leaving me behind because I had to stay back at the venue and have a family member bring me to the hotel later! Everything was truly great and we're happy we chose The Westin.

The Kellogg Club was truly the perfect setting for our wedding! It encapsulated everything I'd been looking for: - Gorgeous side yard and gorgeous garden - Gorgeous interior - Numerous porches The grounds were perfectly manicured (and a HUGE plus - the side yard has an absolutely incredible drainage system. It downpoured the week leading up to the wedding, complete with flash flooding, but after less than a day of no rain the ground was dry and perfect to walk/dance on!) and the garden was gorgeous. The interior is stunning - it's Greek Revival style, with lots of Art Deco details. Think floor-length mirrors, Greek key-adorned sconces, cut crystal details, ceiling plaques, mantels, and more. Every room has surprise touches, and in all the venue doesn't need much decorating if you so choose. We set up our bar in the center red room, and had dining in the main yellow room and the back room. We also had dining tables set up along the outdoor porches, which was wonderful. We had a total of 150 guests (including the wedding party) and everyone fit perfectly! Please note that the main room can only fit about 80 for a formal sit-down; we had no assigned seating and a cocktail-type reception (with a full buffet) and it worked perfectly for us. We also had room to have both the ceremony (with 125 chairs and a chuppah set up) AND a 30' x 40' tent in the side yard alone! We also used a small flowering garden in the back for our photo booth, and took formal pictures in the stunning side garden. Christine, our contact at the club, was incredible - she was always ready to get us into the venue for viewing/brainstorming, and was a dream to work with.

My husband and I hosted a small wedding (54 total guests) in the Washington Room and Vail Bar of JHBK. We were so pleased with this venue--it is absolutely gorgeous, and it is the perfect site for wedding photography. The food and drink are excellent--you cannot go wrong with their menu choices. They were so accommodating to all of our needs. Our day-of coordinator was professional and responsive all throughout the planning process; she helped make our vision a reality. The food service was slow, however, which ran us over our allotted time and cost us extra. One of the orders came out wrong as well--which our guests noted--but these things do happen. Also worth noting: the Washington Room gets very hot in summertime because of their floor to ceiling windows (which we were aware of beforehand, but it is something to consider for sensitive guests). We were still very pleased with the venue and our overall experience, and we would do it all over again. Definitely recommending it to future couples!
