We chose the Greysolon as the place to have our ceremony and reception. It was absolutely amazing and can not express enough how gorgeous this place is. They do everything, so you don't even have to worry about center pieces or anything. Just bring yourselves, and a guest book if you want one. Definitely will be telling everyone that this is the best place to get married, hands down. They even do a taste of Greysolon with a bunch of people getting married in the year to showcase all of their food!

Spirit Mountain was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the gorgeous views overlooking Lake Superior in the MooseHead room to the lush greenery which served as a stunning backdrop for wedding photos, this venue truly left us amazed. We had a very good experience working with the venue staff throughout our entire experience, from planning to the day of. Overall everyone was very responsive, friendly, and professional. We especially want to highlight the efforts of the head chef who not only worked with us to create a new dish to accommodate our guests who subscribe to more plant-based diets, but also his leadership and great care which led to everything tasting AMAZING (e.g., prime rib, potatoes, vegetables, etc.). Our guests repeatedly gave us the feedback that the venue food was SO GOOD which was great to hear. We absolutely recommend Spirit Mountain for a lovely wedding venue!

I had my wedding at Clyde in October and cannot say enough about how perfect this venue was for our wedding and how amazing the staff were. Everything was set up and coordinated exactly as requested and the staff were organized, friendly, efficient, and overall outstanding throughout the entire day and night. Our guests were blown away by how unique and beautiful the space was and everyone loved the food. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Clyde and were impressed by how professional and organized the staff was just for that. We knew this was the venue for us the first time we toured and it turned out to be the perfect spot for our dream wedding. We loved how versatile the space is and how you can truly make it into exactly what your vision is for your big day. The only recommendation I'll make is that the events manager should have an assistant to help with emails and other duties. I was in communication with this person for over 3 years and there were times it took a week for them to get back to me. Even when it took a long time, all my questions were eventually answered which was appreciated but it was a little frustrating at times. Overall, they did an outstanding job with having all the details perfect when it came down to the rehearsal dinner and wedding, but I do think with the amount of events they host at Clyde each week, they could expand their team to take some of the stress off one person since they're so busy all the time. Couldn't have chosen better place for our ceremony and party. Everyone had something to do: kids plenty of exhibits to explore and adults neat venue with dance floor next to the waterwall. We were on a budget but this venue was worth every penny. Alexis (the event coordinator) is the sweetest and most accommodating person I've ever met. I couldn't have asked for a better service!

We got married on July 2, 2021 and it was everything I ever dreamed of! Dawn was amazing from the get-go! Dawn was so efficient, professional, and polite. Dawn had answers to questions we didn’t even know we had. She offered great suggestions, and always responded to emails/calls in less than 24 hours. We knew she was going to take care of us on our big day! We had complete faith in her that she will make things work no matter what! The service we received from all of the employees at Northland Country Club was amazing. They were all warm, responsive, and thorough. Courtney was able to respond to the requests of our bridal party within minutes and always did so with a polite demeanor and smile. Everyone there was not only professional, but also genuine. The venue is absolutely stunning! If we could pick a venue again, we would pick Northland Country Club without a second thought. We had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception which was perfect! Outdoor ceremony area is fairytale like; blue sky, fully sun and amazing flower gardens, so much natural beauty we decided we did not need to add anything to the outdoor ceremony décor. Indoor reception area is classy and tasteful. The servers were polite and friendly, visiting with the guests and answering any questions they had. Northland Country Club was so great to work with for food accommodations. We heard great feedback from our guests about how great the food was; most even said it was the best wedding food they’ve had. At the end of the night Molly was extremely accommodating, providing suggestions for guests for the rest of their stay in Duluth. We can’t say enough great things about Northland Country Club and its amazing employees! Thank you for making the first day of our forever perfect!

Beautiful venue, food was great, service was good at the wedding. Very flexible and let us use some of their decorations for free which helped cut down on cost.

What a beautiful location and hotel! All the staff are absolutely amazing and so welcoming! Everytime you meet any worker in a hallway from the event staff to cleaning department - everyone greeted you with a smile! Our wedding was such a huge hit and we had so many people commenting on how beautiful the hotel was and how great the amenities were. I can't wait to come back and stay! We were so lucky to have our wedding here!

When we were looking around for reception venues we were back and forth between a few but when we looked here it was easy to make the decision. They have the whole bottom floor (Great Lakes Ballroom) so you have no problem finding the place and our guest could just stay at the hotel so when the night was over we didn't have to worry about everyone getting home safely. To put the cherry on top when you book with them the bride and groom get a suite for the wedding night and also a hospitality room for the weekend to keep your decorations, get ready etc.

We initially found our budget to get a bit stretched when were first worked on the menu. Scott and Lisa were great to work with to ensure we were able to keep to our budget and still have delicious menu options. People raved about the food.

The Glensheen team worked so well with our wedding planner and caterers. Our wedding day was 100% stress free. They were even able to make sure that the string quartet was able to play for our outdoor ceremony in 38 degree weather without damaging the instruments or the fingers of the musicians!
