Wedding Venues in Rochester

The Kahler helped us plan (and re-plan) our wedding through the COVID pandemic. With so many unknowns in the situation they were always flexible, accommodating and quick to offer solutions. The staff continuously went above and beyond throughout the planning of the wedding and the day of the wedding. Two weeks before our wedding the church restricted our guest list to 10 people, and within a week the Kahler was able to book us a second ceremony hall so our family could still be there to share this once-in-a-lifetime moment with us in person. The wedding coordinators we worked with were phenomenal also! They offered suggestions, answered every single question and on the day of the wedding someone was always nearby in case I needed anything at all. Every detail was attended to and the food was delicious. Our guests were all very impressed with the quality of the service throughout the evening. Our reception was in the beautiful heritage hall which allowed us to space out our guests with lots of room between tables and a large dance floor. Our wedding day was only possible because of the Kahler and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to host an wedding or other event.

The venue speaks for itself! Every photo turns out amazing! The staff is so helpful and answers every question. It's really has everything you need from getting ready rooms to beautiful indoor and outdoor locations for the ceremony and an amazing reception space, and rentable decor. If I did it all again I wouldn't change a thing!

Joy Ridge is an amazing venue! Not only do they have the most gorgeous chandeliers and bar area, the venue is nestled in the bluffs and makes for beautiful scenery! They have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space and they decorated it to perfection! We hired the Joy Ridge team to decorate and they took all my ideas and made them a reality! Kirsten and her mother in law have amazing design ideas and they did not disappoint! It was so nice not to have to stress about decor and they cleaned it all up afterwards too! They took my Fall theme and made all my dreams come true! Kirsten is a wonderful communicator and works so well with you to organize everything. They also have an awesome getting ready space that my bridal party and I used and they even have us a bottle of champagne’ I would recommend Joy Ridge to anyone getting married! They do it all! Also, the venue is very reasonably priced as well as their bar prices compared to other venues in the area!

Canadian Honker was our caterer for our wedding at the Mayowood Stone Barn. They were beyond nice, flexible, willing to make our hopes and dreams come true - everything from edible flowers on our cocktails to signature drinks, they made it all happen! Jesse was outstanding! The service was incredible and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend Canadian Honker!

I had been to a wedding reception at the Event Center before, so as soon as I got engaged, I knew I wanted to have our reception there. From the start, Joey and the rest of the staff were quick to respond, very helpful, and very accommodating. We were able to tour the venue ahead of time, have a food tasting for us and 4 others (which was more like dinner at a fine dining restaurant), and they worked with us to make sure we had the number and type of tables we wanted along with colored choice of linens and our fabulous head table back drop. Also, the dinner was catered directly through them and the food was outstanding! I would highly recommend the Event Center for not only wedding receptions, but for any other big events that need a venue option.

We used our own decorations with triangle banners and there were paper clips we could use to hang them, as well as ladders to use! They provided tables, chairs, tablecloths, and napkins, as well as a long rectangle head table. We had to use their catering and since our wedding was backyard themed we bought the ham/turkey sandwiches, potato salad, fruits, potato chips, all you can eat popcorn (which was great for guests to have before we made it to them), and we did the unlimited pop. They have a bartender where you'll get your money back if guests pay a certain amount. Overall it was nice and simple and the staff was on top of picking up dishes and keeping enough food out. Was about $1000

We were satisfied from start to finish working with J.Powers. As a couple who wanted to make things easy on ourselves and enjoy the last moments of our engagement, we worked with a energized team who listened to our ideas and thoughtfully cultivated a celebration for us. Amy was instrumental in making our wedding day perfect. Amy anticipated and answered any questions we had and was prompt with her responses. Our guests appreciated the convince of being centrally located Downtown Rochester, making it a quick walk to their evening lodging or the after party ;). I can't recommend J. Powers at the Hilton more.
