We got married at Larsmont Cottages two weekends ago, and we can’t thank the team enough for making our entire wedding weekend absolutely perfect. The venue is breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail ran smoothly and beautifully. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the incredible service, delicious food, and overall atmosphere—they’re already talking about coming back to visit, and we couldn’t agree more! We are so grateful to everyone at Larsmont for making our wedding unforgettable. We’re already planning to celebrate future anniversaries here. A special shoutout to Grant & Jo - you are rock stars!

My partner and I got married at GSL end of June 2024. It was the most perfect day! We worked mostly with Cherry and a bit with Kate. When we first secured our date, the gals made sure we booked a side by side cabin far in advance so we didn’t have to compete with the summer rush. This served as our getting ready spaces and much of our wedding party stayed with us. We made a weekend trip over the winter to do our catering tasting and really got to visualize our event in the space. The food was delicious at the tasting and even better on the day! Cherry was so helpful coaching us through our selections and roughly how much we might need for our event (a tad over 100 ppl). I would recommend couples come prepared to talk through all the details during this time. We were able to provide a list of all our vendors and vision for the day which made our correspondence regarding the day much easier! The day we got married was a rainy one, and I was concerned we may need to move our event inside. Cherry told us we could decide last minute and even swap around cocktail hour if needed. She also had many many umbrellas if we wanted to be brave! The weather cleared up and made for the pinkest spectacular sunset. But I so appreciated the venue’s flexibility and Cherry’s calmness over the whole event. The reception space transformed with the ceiling display and bistro lighting. We hosted beer, wine, coffee and pop for our guests and hosted a smores bar outside. Their catering staff was so respectful and professional, we received so many compliments on the buffet food, Cherry got me a glass of wine while the gals bustled my dress - it was those details and service that made GSL stand out. If I had to do it all over again I would always choose this venue and location. It was pure magic getting married with Lake Superior in the background and such a stunning venue for our “destination” wedding. This was the best experience anyone could have planning their wedding.

I am obsessed with this venue. Agate Acres has been so on top of communication and interpersonal relationships — the staff even feels like friends at this point. There is literally no where else on the North Shore I would like to get married. The farm! The flowers! The freedom to curate a dream wedding! I could wax poetry about this venue for days.

This was an absolutely beautiful place to have a wedding. Unfortunately the music did not work during the ceremony and we had to get a new room key twice. But the food was spectacular and our wedding photos look picturesque!!!
