Josh was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Everything you read online says couples regret not having a wedding video… and after watching ours, we have zero regrets. My husband literally said, “I’m so glad we hired a videographer, and even more glad it was Josh.” When I was planning, I spoke to several videographers and kept running into the same issue. Their packages were expensive, inflexible, and included a ton of things I didn’t actually want or need. It felt like I was being forced to pay for extras instead of getting exactly what I envisioned. Then we found Josh, and he was honestly a breath of fresh air. I told him I wanted a full recording of our ceremony and a few highlight reels we could share on social media. He immediately understood the vision and created a custom package that fit exactly what we were looking for without breaking the bank. And we are SO thankful we chose him. Our highlight videos feel so personal and authentic to us. Nothing felt staged or forced. Josh also shared ideas based on current wedding and social media trends, which was really impressive and helped bring our vision to life in a modern way. One of the biggest compliments? Multiple people in our wedding party said, “He was so great, we forgot he was even there!” He blended in so naturally while still capturing everything. Also (this part blew us away) our DJ’s audio during the ceremony and speeches wasn’t great… but Josh used his own microphones, and the sound in our videos came out so clear. Our parents even said they could hear things in the video that they missed in real time during the ceremony. They really love how the ceremony video turned out. Josh was also incredibly professional and easy to work with. He was thorough in our calls, flexible with any changes, and worked seamlessly with our photographer (who he had never met before). They coordinated everything so smoothly and made sure every moment was captured without getting in each other’s way. On top of that, he’s mindful of budget and even offers deals throughout the year, which is RARE in the wedding world. My mom loved him so much she already wants to hire him again for future family events! 😂 I truly can’t recommend Josh enough. You’re getting the quality of a professional filmmaker with the care and understanding of someone who knows weddings are a big investment. He delivers something that feels like a cinematic masterpiece without making you feel like you overspent to get it. We’ve already rewatched our videos more times than I can count. Here are some screenshots from the videos he captured for us. I hope other couples make the right decision and choose Josh to capture one of the most important days of their lives.

Buxton Media was fantastic and I couldn't recommend them more highly. They were very easy to work with when we were setting up the date and times we needed, and their prices are extremely reasonable. We requested a full ceremony video plus a 2-minute highlight video of some of the reception along with key moments from the ceremony, and they did a BEAUTIFUL job. Watching the videos made us cry happy tears.

We cannot recommend ATC Photograph & Video enough! From start to finish, Allen and Marion were absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond in every way — not only did they capture every special moment perfectly, but they also made the whole experience so fun and relaxed. They made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which is no small feat, and their energy was contagious. It honestly felt like we had a good friend with us throughout the day — one who just happened to be incredibly talented with a camera. Our photos and videos are stunning, emotional, and full of life. We will treasure them forever. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, creative, and just a joy to be around, this is your photographer.

Editing Life Videography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Matt was incredibly professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process—clear communication, realistic timelines, and a genuinely calming presence. On the wedding day, Greg and Wade were fantastic. They were friendly, respectful, and totally on top of things without ever feeling intrusive. They captured everything we hoped for (and so much we didn’t even realize was happening in the moment). We’ve already received our Short Film Sneak Peek and trailer, and we’re thrilled. The editing is gorgeous, the story feels personal, and it brings us right back to the day. You can tell this team cares about the final product and takes pride in their work. I highly recommend Black Tie Video! Jim and Barbara were amazing to work with from start to finish. We almost didn't book a videographer, but I am beyond happy we did, because our videos are amazing and bring us right back to our special day! They had the option to add on drone coverage and that was 100% worth it to get an aerial view of our waterfront venue. It added such a nice touch to our video! Jim was very communicative throughout the process. The day of the wedding Jim and Barbara captured every important moment, but were so unobtrusive, I never noticed they were there! They worked well with all of my vendors (and knew most of them from their many years of experience) and were so wonderful to work with. One thing that I loved was the option for a full length wedding video. So many videographers we interviewed only offered a highlight video, but Jim offered both a highlight video and full-length video of the day capturing pre-wedding, the entire ceremony, vows, speeches, first dances, etc. My husband and I loved being taken back to all of those moments together and we cherish this video. The final videos took a little longer than expected to receive, but Jim was in communication with us throughout the entire process and updated us with the status frequently. You could tell how much work Jim put in to the editing of the video--the background music meshed perfectly with the video and every moment captured flowed beautifully into the next. Everything was definitely worth the wait! If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer, make sure to book Black Tie Video! You won't regret it!

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Bill. He was highly recommended to us by our photographers and, as soon as we met him, we could see that being a wedding videographer is not just a job for him, but his true passion. Bill was always so professional and punctual with emails. He even came to our wedding rehearsal at Herrington on the Bay to take complimentary photos of that occasion, which we are happy to have. His son, who accompanied Bill as his assistant, was also very nice to work with. We are so happy that Bill was our videographer and would definitely recommend him.

Jeff and his team (we had Josh and Lane) are professional and great at what they do. It is so easy to see that they truly enjoy their line of work. They captured our day beautifully. My husband and I had a private ceremony and a large reception. We asked the team for a same day edit of our vows. The ceremony was from 4 to 430 and the cocktail hour was at 6. The video played for our guests at 8 and it was stunning. Elements of the cocktail hour and even our reception entrances were included. Our guests were floored by the quality and turnaround. I am sure this isnt common place for the team but speaks volumes for what they are able to do. I watch back that same day edit and everytime I find myself tearing up. I am so thankful that we used reflexion. We will always remember our special day and how it felt because of the amazing job that this team did!

Caroline is the sweetest person! She arrived in a timely fashion and was ready to go capture our wedding day. She was swift to move into each location where the photographers were so she could capture that moment. She was courteous to our photographers, allowing them their space to do what they needed to do while still doing her job. She captured so much of our day, and we cannot wait to receive the wedding video back!
