From the initial contact call to our Wedding day working with John was an amazing experience. John was with us throughout the entire day of our wedding. We loved our highlight video, our ceremony footage and the video that included all the dances and speeches of our wedding. All the videos were shot with a lot of detail. John knows how to capture key moments, that allow us to relive our wedding day, we couldn’t be happier! Many people don’t hire videographers anymore, but there is nothing like being able to relive such an important day. John does an amazing job capturing everything and provides great package deals, he was worth every penny!

If you’re in need of videography, look no further. John is insanely talented and our video turned out even better than we could have hoped for. And receiving the raw footage of our first dances, speeches, and ceremony was SO special. John truly captured our personalities and the joy we experienced throughout the day. He was also very discreet - it was amazing some of the footage he was able to capture without us even realizing. It was worth every penny and I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

From the planning process to the actual wedding day to receiving the videos, we were absolutely blown away. The videos we received were so amazing and the editing was superb. When I showed friends and family my wedding video, I received so many messages that said something along the lines of, "every cent you paid for that video was worth it." I am so, so glad we decided to go with John for our videographer. He was very responsive and dedicated so much of his day to filming our wedding. He captured such beautiful shots and made a highlight video we will treasure forever. He was also willing to make a few changes to the highlight video after we saw it for the first time. I cannot recommend him more highly!

I should start by saying we haven't actually received our full wedding video yet, so this review is based on our actual experience with John as well as our social media teaser. I've watched our teaser video about 100 times since receiving it 2 days ago because it's just so cool and I am so impressed. John was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day and he worked really well with our photographers. Also, his pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality he produces. John is a true artist and I couldn't be more excited to see what else he creates for us.

John was chill, calm, and happy for our wedding day, which is the energy you want to have around you when it’s go-time. He worked super well with our photographer and knew the footage he was looking for. We haven’t seen the complete video yet, but we know it’s going to be awesome and are super excited to see the final product. Would recommend!

John was incredible. Extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful. On top of being great to work with, his actual work is AMAZING. We almost didn’t get a videographer but after hearing from multiple people that they wish they had or that it was their best investment, we decided to take the leap. Seeing John’s portfolio made him a clear choice, as the way he layers high-quality audio recordings with stunning imagery cannot be beat in a highlight video. Seeing these amazing shots from our wedding day playing over the audio of our vows will never stop making me cry. Few videographers also offer raw footage now adays and the footage of our ceremony, speeches, and first dances is so gorgeous it feels like a fully edited film. My brother wrote and officiated our ceremony and I am SO glad I will have that entire thing to watch over and over again and eventually to show our kids. We were truly amazed at the quality and creative vision of his work and are so grateful we hired John.

John at Mid 80s Media made an absolutely beautiful highlight reel for us. Our contract also included full but un-edited coverage of all the main events and we were very happy with that as well. Particularly, we appreciated having the full ceremony footage stitched together from two camera angels. John was very easy to work with and was our actual videographer day of. Our video took longer than the contracted time, but John was up front that he was running behind and he was NEVER unresponsive so this didn’t bother us AT ALL. He has been great though the whole process and let us request edits to the highlight film which was very important to me. I would just note that if there are specific day of details you want in your video, make sure to give a list beforehand so everyone is on the same page. Our contract included providing the footage on a hard drive we provided and that worked great. John delivered an exceptional wedding video using quality footage. I expressed that I wanted “epic” music and like the dark/jewel tone looks more than “light and airy” and he hit it right on the head. I am so happy we picked Mid 80’s Media for our wedding.
