Hotel Wedding Venues in Sacramento

Wedgewood came through with the all-inclusive experience in more ways than we could hope for. Maybe we got lucky with our coordinator, Katherine, or maybe this is how they treat every couple but we were blown away by how well everything went. I even found out later about little snags that came up unexpectedly that Katherine handled discreetly and smoothly. She even snuck a picture of us immediately after the ceremony and put it on our sweetheart table! We left a lot of trust in their hands and they exceeded our expectations. 10/10 for sure!!

Before choosing the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel, the venue for my wedding was one of the decisions I stressed out most about. I knew the location and look of my venue would really dictate how the day went, as well as how the rest of my budget would be impacted. Luckily, after many, many venue searches throughout Northern California, I found the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel. I was already familiar with Kimpton hotels after staying at a few for other trips, so I knew that I liked their aesthetic, in addition to how comfortable their rooms were. Thus, I was really impressed with how accommodating and flexible their wedding package was (perhaps because I booked during the height of the pandemic). The lobby, ballroom, and terrace made for a great ceremony, cocktail, and reception location. Finally, being located right in the heart of downtown Sacramento meant that lodging and transportation options were abundant for our guests, who came from all over the world. I would highly recommend anyone getting married look into reserving the Kimpton for their wedding! One of the best decisions I made.

Having postponed our wedding due to COVID, I have worked with multiple event coordinators at the Hyatt during our accidental 2.5 year engagement. Alexandra has been hands down the most helpful one! She answered my thousands of questions promptly and reached out for any information she needed from me. Hyatt was more than accommodating when we had to reschedule and their attention to detail was unmatched. The venue provides virtually everything needed in terms of linens, cutlery, catering, desserts, etc. Bridy was a great help with booking hotel rooms for our guests. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue and the lovely staff who made planning for our big day a breeze.

Married: September 30, 2017 6:30 pm Sunset 🌅 We exchanged our Wedding Vows, Red Rose Exchange and our wedding Rings on the River walk in front of the Iconic Tower Bridge, it was spectacular to say the least, what a Background for fabulous photos! We hired a DJ and had our beautiful wedding reception out side on the Tower Bistro Patio, they had it set up to a Tee, white linens, beautiful glassware, candles and lights of the umbrellas! Picture-Perfect to say the least...Open Bar and hors d’oeuvres! Perfection! Samantha, our Wedding Event Planner Specialist! She was nothing short of amazing AAA + Service! Thanxxxxxx soooo much for all of your hard work and making sure everything was as close to perfect as possible❤️We will both agree that this was our "Picture-Perfect-Wedding-Day"...It was everything we thought it would be and more...Embassy Suites wait staff were incredible and gracious, they did an exceptional and amazing job from A to Z...Our Room, On the 8th floor, Corner Suite, was beyond beautiful, perfect in every way for all of my girl friends, my daughter, our moms, my sister & nieces, my Aunt & Cousin We had a fabulous time and a fun Photo shoot & Champagne toast👰💍🎩🍾🎉We had several family & friends stay at the Hotel, in turn we had such a wonderful time doing breakfast & happy hour with all of them...It would be safe to say everyone had a great time at our Wedding and their stay at Embassy Suites Hilton...A "BIG" Shout OUT to Dee, Our Bartender, she went above and beyond her call of duty, she was an absolute delight, all of our friends and family made comments about how wonderful of a person she was, Props to DEE!!! Also the waitstaff did an amazing job with our champagne toast service and also our cake cutting service, Thank You to all of you for such a beautiful evening that we will never forget❤️Oh also thank you so much for the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in a room Saturday night that was an extra special touch that we did not expect! So generous and kind of you all thank you and God bless🙏 Kraig & Lisa Hawkins PS Your valet guys are wild and crazy, we love them to pieces😍 I'm sure they'll never forget us, if you want to know why, you'll have to ask them yourself about the red Camaro SS Bride & Groom & Friends...

Laura and The Citizen Hotel team did a fantastic job on our wedding reception. Communication was great and all the details in the planning were covered on our meetings and emails. They accommodated our requests and our reception at the Metropolitan Terrace went smoothly. Our guests enjoyed the food, which was delicious, and they all commented having had a great time with the bartender. The classic elegance of the Citizen Hotel was what we were looking for our day and we highly recommend it to everyone.

We fell in love with the venue when we went to check it out for our intimate wedding. We had 20 guests and it was perfect and very affordable. Rachel and Sara are so easy to work with and they really make sure your day goes well.

Our ceremony was originally planned to be outdoors, bad weather forced us inside. This hotel isnt usually used for weddings but we pulled off wedding and reception on-site. staff was excellent, event turned out to be AWESOME!

My fiance and I met with the event manager Kathy Cameron. She was amazing! She was very helpful and friendly. She was also able to answer and questions we had that day.

We held our wedding in the Sierra room, and it turned out perfectly!! The event staff was incredible - checking in on the bride and groom throughout the night - I never once had to worry about anything. The menu was incredible, and all of the guests kept talking about how good it was! The Sierra room has a stunning nighttime view (the daytime view was also gorgeous!), I highly recommend this wedding venue!!
