I'm a non-practicing Catholic, and Lisa's not really religious. My parents would have liked to have seen a Catholic ceremony, but neither of us wanted such a formal wedding. We'd seen John Knight officiate the wedding of our good friends Dan & Deb and liked the ceremony. We wanted an informal, non-religious ceremony that maintained the ideals of our wedding, fun and whimsy. A judge or other officiant would not have been able to keep that feeling for the ceremony. We met with him and worked through the ceremony and created our own vows. He worked with us to come up with the plan for the ceremony and the flow of the various parts of the ceremony. We wanted our wedding to be a happy celebration of our marriage and he helped to set the whole tone for the day with his very wonderful ceremony. It was everything that we'd talked about and it was better than we could have imagined. He completely worked with us to make our wedding ceremony what we envisioned.

Working with DeeAnn was the easiest and best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. After speaking with her on the phone and hearing how warm, down-to-earth, sincere, and professional she is, we new we had found or officiant. She met with us multiple times in an effort to truly get to know us as a couple and to understand our vision for our ceremony. We wanted to keep things very simple and laid-back, and DeeAnn did an amazing job of honoring our preferences but also fleshing out the ceremony in a way that felt authentic to us and to our loved ones. Our ceremony was perfect- earnest, emotional, funny, poetic, and so very US. Our guests laughed, cried, and even caught some inside jokes! DeeAnn is so open-minded, flexible, organized, responsive, and just plain fun to spend time with. She is a truly lovely person and competent professional. She worked well with our other vendors to make our day run smoothly and our guests had many great things to say about her and the beautiful ceremony she wrote for us. My aunt told me it was "the most beautiful ceremony" she'd ever been to. what more can you ask for? Thank you, DeeAnn! My partner and I worked with Shyamala in the creation of our recent wedding ceremony. Working with Shyamala was a total pleasure from start to finish. She is a very special person, who makes you feel cherished and held as a couple. We wanted an intentional, customized wedding ceremony, but didn’t have the time or expertise to create it ourselves from scratch. Over our Zoom sessions, she made the effort to get to know us as a couple, our personal backgrounds and the story of how we came together. She provided us with many different ideas for meaningful rituals that we could incorporate into our ceremony. She has gathered many different readings on love. We read through them and then chose one that spoke to us. Using the pieces that we discussed in our sessions and her own beautiful writing, Shyamala composed a bespoke and meaningful ceremony for us. We had some things we wanted to add or clarify in the editing process and Shyamala was very open to making changes. Shyamala worked closely with our chosen officiant through Zoom sessions and email. Our officiant said that she felt very supported and therefore capable to lead the wedding ceremony–something she had never done before. In the end, all the pieces came together beautifully. We felt great about how it turned out and we also received many comments on how personalized and special it was. We can’t thank Shyamala enough for her support in making this a reality! We are an LGBTQ couple and we felt very seen and loved while working with Shyamala.

It was a pleasure working with Angelica on our wedding day. Month's before the wedding getting the wedding vows together was amazing because her schedule was very flexible and every time I thought of something new, she would make the time to add those changes. Our day was special because you could feel those heart felt moments and to see our guests wiping away tears, we knew she did a wonderful job. Angelica was on time and our guests enjoyed her genuine smile & personality after the ceremony. Definitely someone we would consider a friend after tying the knot. Look forward to future and working with her again especially when it's time to renew the vows. We traveled to San Francisco from Atlanta to get married and to work with her Angelica specifically. One wedding officiant who will deliver and not let you down. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories! Glad she decided to join us for dinner after the ceremony. Keep up the good work. I would rate her 100%.
