Hi, I’m Ebbony, a modern, non-religious wedding officiant specialising in San Francisco City Hall and Bay Area weddings.

I create warm, engaging ceremonies that feel relaxed, thoughtful, and genuinely you, never scripted, never stiff, and thoughtfully told.

I’ve been part of the wedding industry for over 15 years, beginning my career in luxury hotels across Australia, London, and the United States. Five years ago, my family opened Bidja Estate, our private home and barn transformed into a much-loved wedding venue in Australia. Together, we’ve had the privilege of hosting 150+ couples, building deep connections within a close-knit wedding community. While I’m based in San Francisco, I continue to work closely with my family remotely. Storytelling, ceremony design, and creating meaningful experiences are truly in my DNA.

As your officiant, I’ll guide you through every step, from marriage licence support and ceremony logistics to vow guidance and legal paperwork, so you can relax and actually enjoy the moment. My style is personal, calm, and joyful, with just the right balance of heart and lightness (fuelled by good chocolate and the occasional spicy margarita).

My goal is simple: to create a ceremony that feels engaging, authentic, and completely yours, a moment you’ll remember long after the photos are framed.

She has such a lovely voice, at the same time words coming out of her mouth were so assuring.
