We would recommend Carl Mindling to anyone that is planning a wedding in the Bay Area and needs an off-the-charts DJ and MC for their event. Carl was the DJ/MC for our wedding in September 2013. We planned our wedding in California while we were living in Europe, which was no problem when working through our planning with Carl. We had a couple of Skype calls in the months leading up to the wedding, and Carl helped us decide on our ceremony and reception music. On the day of our wedding, and because of rain, our reception location changed and Carl remained calm and adapted to our new plan (which seemed to change by the minute). Carl and his team also went over and above what he needed to do as DJ/MC, including, for example, helping us ensure our ceremony chairs were dry for our guests. Carl did a great job of keeping the flow of our event, and making sure everyone felt comfortable as a result of his expert MC skills. And he is an amazing DJ – we literally had a packed dance floor once the floor was opened to the end, which is testament to how good his music choices were. Thank you, Carl for an amazing event. We could not imagine having anyone else as our DJ/MC on such a special day.

We are so happy to have worked with Cassie and Dan for our once in a lifetime day. We got married at Nestldown on 10/18/25. Cassie made the process so easy and fun. The communication and phone calls were great. Our final meeting to go over the Vibo app which was fantastic and easy to plug in music from whatever platform was really helpful. I had many songs where I wanted it played at certain times during the day, in certain order, and a certain time period in the song and they nailed it. Music is a huge part of the day for me and what I was really looking forward to on the day. The whole day went off without a hitch. She even found my maid of honor who wondered off before giving her speech. The announcements and transitions were great. The Photo Booth was an absolute hit. I can't recommend enough booking the photobooth. It is modern day wedding favors and our guests were so excited to take home. The quality of the Photo Booth and the prop sunglasses were so fun. I also got so many photos to my surprise as well at the end and I am so excited for my keepsakes. We are so happy with booking Los Gatos DJ and definitely recommend them and their Photo Booth for any and all events.
