Country Club Wedding Venues in Flagstaff

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Flag Ranch on June 12, 2021 and everything was wonderful! We looked at a lot of venues, and we fell in love with the mountain views from the ceremony site and the clubhouse. The clubhouse has impressive wood beams, fireplace, and windows. There’s a porch that wraps around the whole backside of the clubhouse and there’s also pavilion. We used those areas for yard games like corn hole during the cocktail hour and reception. The dining room is super spacious with vaulted ceilings. We were initially going to have 150 people, but due to COVID we dropped it down to 50, which actually seemed like the perfect amount to me for the space. We weren’t all crammed in. The ceremony is down on the driving range, but if needed to we would have moved everything under the pavilion in inclement weather. There is no shade down at the ceremony site, but even on an 80+ degree day at 4:30, it wasn’t unbearable. Working with the Flag Ranch event staff was super easy. They are very laid back. They were basically open to doing whatever we wanted; they’re very accommodating. They have their own chef, so you do have to use their catering, but the food was phenomenal! We were nervous about having to sign for the venue without having tasted the food, so they let us come in for dinner one night, even though it’s normally open only to their members. Everyone in the community was very welcoming and understanding. They were patient when we were out on the golf course for photos and everyone wished us the best. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Flagstaff wedding to check Flag Ranch out!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue and Karen, the wedding coordinator for Forest Highlands!! We wanted a winter wedding in March 2023, and boy did we get it. Flagstaff saw an unprecedented 5 ft of snow, and the Forest Highlands team went above and beyond to work to clear the insane amount of snow off of part of the green so we could have our dream outdoor wedding. And to top it off, it poured on and off all day the day of our wedding, and the team was so amazing to move things quickly, and helped laugh off the pouring rain at the end of our ceremony. Karen was so easy and amazing to work with, and she made planning a destination wedding such a breeze. If you were looking for a beautiful venue and easy wedding planning, this is the place.
