I am so happy that I decided to hire Zha Zha for my wedding. She was extremely professional and knew exactly how to handle a crazy Chinese family during a tea ceremony. While all of my relatives were screaming and shouting like headless chicken, Zha Zha stayed calm and directed people for photographs and what appreciated most about her is that she took the time to fix / position people for photos. She did an quick turn around for sneak peeks within 24 hours of my wedding and I was stunned about how beautiful my photos turned out. Zha Zha has the unique ability to make people feel comfortable when a camera is pointed at them and she also is great with pets! I highly recommend her for anyone who wants to have flawless photos taken on their special day that they can keep for the rest of their lives.

My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Zha Zha as our wedding photographer. We knew from the moment we met her over lunch to get to know her we'd have a phenomenal experience working with her— she delivered well above and beyond our expectations!

Zha Zha really put in the effort to get to know us in order to align on the overall vision and strategy for the look, feel, and vibe of the photos given all the unique locations involved on our big day in San Francisco (i.e. Fairmont Ghirardelli Square, Saints Peter & Paul Church, cable trolley car, Fort Mason Pier, and Gallery 308).

We felt so comfortable shooting with Zha Zha and her second shooter on our wedding day— they guided us through all the locations without any hiccups and communicated exceptionally well with our wedding party, family, and friends for photos. Some of my favorite memories from our wedding day were all the special moments shared with our guests, which Zha Zha did an amazing job of capturing candids shots of. Her attention to detail is impeccable.

In lieu of an engagement shoot, we opted for a post-wedding shoot instead so we could maximize time with our guests. Zha Zha was very open to this idea and it was one of the best decisions we made. Opting for a post-wedding shoot gave us more flexibility and time to capture scenic shots in the Marin Headlands and Sutro Baths— there was no way we'd be able to pull off shooting in these locations on our wedding day.

I am so incredibly happy with how our wedding day and post-wedding shoot photos turned out, all thanks to Zha Zha! I LOVE looking back on our wedding album and can't wait to print and frame our pictures. I honestly can't recommend Zha Zha enough— you're in more than capable and experienced hands with her and I'd hire her again and again if I could!

I was fortunate enough to have Zha Zha do our engagement session. My fiancé' and I were completely blown away by the photos. Zha Zha made us look so damn good!! When I showed my mom the gallery, she legit spent 2 hours going over the pics, crying, and saying “WOWWWWW.”

Disclaimer: we are not models lol. So in all honesty, whenever we have photography sessions we’re always a little worried about looking awkward in the photos. But Zha Zha made us feel so comfortable! She's really great at giving direction and making the energy of your shoot feel fun and friendly. In turn, the love and adoration between me and my fiancé is translated through the photos. Her eye for colors, angles, and details is absolutely amazing. Our engagement photos literally look like ART! On top of that, her style of editing is perfection. I’m pretty picky about this. I’m not a fan of photos that are too washed out or too dark/grainy. Our engagement photos are crisp and clear, with beautiful tones and bokeh. It makes me so happy to know I will look back on these in 50 years and STILL love how they look!

Zha Zha is a one stop wedding shop. She's a talented photographer, florist, AND designer. She probably has even more talented services but those were the 3 that she helped with me with for my wedding.

I only had 3 months to plan my wedding, but I wanted to go all out and send Save the Dates as well as have a DIY wedding. During the short turnaround time, Zha Zha immediately scheduled me in for an engagement shoot and took the most amazing photos. She first met with me to assess my likes and dislikes, then scouted some areas and made recommendations accordingly. We had our photos taken at 3 different sites and had 2 outfit changes. Zha Zha was very patient and my husband and I never felt rushed during our photo shoot. We're also very camera shy, but Zha Zha made the session fun so it felt natural posing for her. We love her lifestyle styled photography as well as her use of natural lighting. It made our photos look professionally shot without the heavy contrast.

Throughout the wedding planning, Zha Zha helped be brainstorm ideas on how to pull of a rustic yet classic wedding. She sent me suggestions via Pinterest and helped me find ideas and inspiration. As a result, I ended up asking her to help design several signs for stations I had planned for my wedding (i.e. the photo booth logo, the guest sign-in sign, as well as the his/hers cocktail signs). She turned those around quickly and they were exactly as I imagined.

As for flowers, Zha Zha will work with you to find the best discount possible. I also had to work with a strict budget for my centerpieces, but I was very particular about how I wanted it to look as well. I wanted gold vases and off-season flowers - a very hard combination to find during the winter off-peak season. Zha Zha was very understanding about my limitations and helped scour local and online vendors for the best price possible. As a result, I got exactly what I wanted and it was below my budget.
