at first we were very excited and proud to have zero image work our wedding. the same day edit was awesome and everyone loved it. dont get me wrong, they do wonderful work, and have all the talent and tools. however, its been almost a year and we havent heard from them with regards to our wedding video. they kept delaying delivery, reassuring us it was done, and we still dont have it. repeated calls, emails, even facebook messages go unanswered. its like they fell off the face of the earth, with everything we paid, and all our wedding day memories. we would even be happy with just the raw footage, but we dont even have that. very sad and disappointed... we were expecting so much more from them. i hope no one ever has to go through what we have with them.

I echo what was said above. They are very creative and were open to ideas the day of the wedding, however, any contact afterwards went unanswered and we were unable and still waiting to get the rest of our wedding footage. It has been a headache trying to call and email them without a response. We are very disappointed with their professional and work ethic. We paid for a service and we are still waiting for our final product.

Most people plan their wedding 6 months to a year ahead but in my case my planning started 2 years ahead but with good reason. Reasons I don't need to get into.I guess no matter how far in advance you plan things, some things are bound to go wrong anyway. Prime example: Zero Image Studios. These are the people we hired to produce a music and concept video for us prior to the wedding and a Documentary of the events of the day. I didn't shop anyone else because I was dead set on them and was really excited and impressed with the kind of work they produced. I should have already known from the introduction what type of business etiquette they possessed: NONE. I reached out to them June 2012, from the initial phone call they said they would email me that day with their prices and packages. They never did. I left a few more messages before they finally sent it to me and that was the following month. I did not get an appointment with them that they were able to keep till August. At the time, I wanted to work with them so badly I did not flag the situation as I should have, instead I got more aggressive in getting the ball rolling. I thought we had an honest connection the day of the meeting. They came out and spent a few hours with us and discussed the future. I felt like we were on the same page and they understood the importance of my timeline. That night we agreed we were going to sign a contract with them, one in which they would send me the following day. Never got it. I waited a week before I contacted them and a week later they sent it. However, the proposal was completely wrong and was not what we had agreed on or discussed so I brought it to their attention and was not given a reply or corrected proposal for another month or so which brings us to the later part of September. It was another 2 months before they came back out to me to sign the contract and to take my deposit. Imagine from June to November, all we've established was a meeting and the signing of the contract and deposit. Since it was approaching the Holidays, I told them we should touch base in January and have a schedule figured out so that I may communicate it with everyone involved and so that filming can begin immediately in the Spring. January came and I did not hear from them and instead of contacting them I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited but when March came I decided I needed to contact them myself. It was close to the end of March and filming should be set to start. These people are ridiculous and I was beginning to feel very distressed. After a few days of leaving messages and sending emails they finally replied but was very short and did not address the issue at hand. Another 10 days went by before I sent them an email expressing my concerns and I even took it upon myself to write up the script to be used for the concept video. Between then and the end of April, I relentlessly tried to get in contact with them and they were just not returning calls and so we sent them a certified letter in the mail requesting we be refunded as they are clearly in breach of contract. We gave them till May 1st to acknowledge our request or we would file a claim with the small claims court. In the mean time I disputed the charge with my credit card company. One way or the other we were set on getting our deposit back. Of course it wasn't till May 1st that they decided to send us an email with pathetic excuses. We were done. We just wanted our money back. They've yet to refund us and my credit card company is still investigating the dispute. I've sent them phone records and emails to back up my claim so I'm pretty confident I will eventually get our money back and if not we are prepared to take legal action. Between May and now we've yet to hear back from them or recieve a refund. I've heard stories from several others who've dealt with them or are currently working with them about how they are not holding up their end of the bargain. Apparently they make it a habbit to not produce what's promised or not return any form of communication. Looks like John Dumlao and Lily Prijoles (Boyfriend/ Girlfriend team) of Zero Image Studio are in business to take your money and running. Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde.
