I grew up going to Zake's in the 80's when they were on Indian Queen Lane in East Falls. I had MANY a birthday cake baked my Maureen. About 30 years later, it was time for me to get married and only a Zake's cake would do. Their quality has no faded with time. We had a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing done in a "messy" style. It was beautiful and extremely delicious!!!

Annie from Zakes Cafe made our wedding cake last month. I do not normally like cake, but this cake was delicious. We had the summer shortcake and everyone raved about how good it tasted AND about how beautiful it looked. Thank you so much!

DELICIOUS!! We had a 3 tiered off centered square cake- something they had never done before. It turned out absolutely amazing. The cake itself was to die for! We had the red velvet sheet cake and a chocolate cake with fresh raspberry mouse as the actual cake. Our guests thought it was soo amazing. I highly recommend at least going for a tasting. They are extremely well known for their cakes.
