We loved, loved working with Yun Li! We did an engagement shoot, which was fantastic, and made us feel extremely comfortable and confident going into the wedding day. On the wedding day Yun brought a second photographer, Chris, who was super nice and professional. So far, we’ve gotten a ton of sneak peeks, which are all gorgeous. We had our engagement photos taken with Yun and oh man, we were SOOOOO happy with her work. It actually turned out to be on a rainy day, we didn't mind but weren't sure whether we could still do it given those expensive cameras, but Yun was a true trooper! She took our photos in a rain poncho and showed true dedication to making our photos great! She made a great suggestion for us to take see-through umbrellas, which made it so romantic. We had Central Park to ourselves, especially since we had the proposal picture on Bow Bridge without anyone else. It was truly a memorable and special experience.

Yun was really good at capturing moments, and the pictures came out so naturally. She also gave us really helpful instructions where needed but it wasn't overpowering in any way, only helpful!

Yun was also extremely patient with the post-production edits. She's personable and extremely professional! We feel fortunate to have worked with her, and she's won awards with two of our photos! What a great bonus to talk about!

Yun Li was such an amazing photographer for our wedding!! She covered both the ceremony and reception which were in different areas, and she had such beautiful ideas for poses and scenic shots. Her candid work is phenomenal as well- it really captured the joyous feel of the whole event. She has such a good eye for shots, and she is organized and will help you and work with you on every step of the process. She was able to help us take a organized group photo with EVERY person in the wedding, TWICE, once for the ceremony and once for the reception! I am in awe at her energy as well; she was running around taking shots of what seemed like every single second of our special day. She definitely understood how important this day was to us. If I need a photographer for another event, I would not hesitate to call Yun Li again in a heartbeat.

I was so nervous about the always-changing weather, and the only thing that could calm my nerves was the faith that Yun is experienced and professional enough to take absolutely beautiful photos in rain. On the special day, Yun and her team were so fun to work with - it was a labor-intensive task, and they were kind, patient, and full of energy until the end of the day. She knows every great spot in NYC for pre-wedding photos and her skill is marvelous. We got our first set of photos one week later, and cannot wait to see the final ones! They are just beautiful! After looking through wedding wire for a photographer, I came across Yun Li. I loved her photos and reached out. She was very easy to talk to and upon meeting her, I knew that she was the photographer for us. We also booked our engagement shoot with her. We weren't sure where we wanted to take pictures for our shoot, so she was very helpful and gave us a bunch of suggestions. The engagement shoot was great. She made us feel so comfortable and the pictures came out beautiful. When I showed my friends the unedited pictures, they were all shocked to here that it wasn't edited. It looked that perfect. Our wedding was postponed due to COVID, but Yun Li was able to work with us on rescheduling. The day of the wedding her and her team arrived on time. They made us all feel at ease. We got sneak peeks within a week after the wedding and the full set of pictures in about 2 months. Everything was beautiful. I couldn't have been happier. We also decided to make our photo album with her. She made the process so easy and the album came out great. You won't regret booking her.

Yun is an incredibly amazing photographer and an absolute delight to work with! My (now) fiancé had her photograph the surprise proposal - we were so happy with how the photos turned out that we immediately reached out to her for our engagement photoshoot in Central Park and Dumbo. Having worked with Yun twice in just a few months, I can’t say enough good things about her - she is professional, courteous, sweet, and always goes above and beyond to ensure she gets the highest quality photos.
