Improve vendor collaboration
1. Event Layout: The layout was not conducive to an active dance floor, which diminished guest engagement. Collaborative planning could have addressed this.
2. Vendor Collaboration: There was a lack of support for our role, with changes to agreed-upon responsibilities and side discussions with staff that bypassed our contract. This created confusion and hindered execution.
3. Unnecessary Fees: When a key was lost in the venue elevator shaft, resulting in unavoidable load-out delays, the planner insisted we pay additional fees. This lack of flexibility was disappointing and inconsistent with the teamwork we expect in the industry.
