I booked my wedding at La Casa Toscana in Fort Myers a year out, and at the time, Becky was the exclusive wedding coordinator, providing day-of coordination. I knew Becky was highly regarded in the industry, and being that we lived out of town, had a newborn, and demanding full-time jobs, I knew that we would need some help! We decided to upgrade to a full service wedding planning package with the Mostly Becky team, and I am so grateful we did!

At first, I'll be honest, it was hard to truly see the value in our decision to go with a full service wedding planner, because there was simply not a whole lot we could do a year out. But as time passed, and the wedding got closer, we immediately began to see a return on our investment.

Becky was a lifesaver when it came to reminders, to-do lists, and overall guidance, and was super responsive whenever I had questions on my end.
But the real magic came the weekend of our wedding. Becky led our rehearsal at the venue the evening before the wedding, and her positive attitude really set the tone for the weekend.

The day of the wedding, when I arrived at the venue to get ready, I dropped off a bin full of decorative items with Becky, and that was LITERALLY the last time I had to lift a finger the entire day. From the moment I began getting ready with my girls, to the ceremony and reception, everything went off without a hitch! I cannot tell you how many times I heard the words "OMG everything was SO PERFECT" from my guests, and it's because it truly was like something out of a movie. Just so well executed by the Mostly Becky team.

At the end of the night, we headed out and I completely forgot to stop at the bridal suite to gather my things, which I didn't realize until the next morning, Before I started to panic, my HUSBAND told me to checked the car, and of course, there it was - a box in the back seat with all of my items! Still shocked at how that managed to get to the car. How did they know those were my items? How did they get the keys to the car? We have no idea. Probably because they are magical wedding fairy's!

Putting together a wedding is no small task, and it is hopefully, a once in a lifetime experience. If there is somewhere in your budget that you can trim down costs, so that you can hire Becky, DO IT! I feel so blessed for the manner in which we were able to experience our wedding day - at peace and present in every aspect, with absolutely no distractions.

My husband and I are so thankful for Amanda, Becky, and the whole Mostly Becky team. Having a day of coordinator was truly a life saver. Not only was Amanda great at keeping us on track with the whole planning process, but she always had great suggestions and ideas a long the way. It was such a blessing to not have to worry about anything the day of. Our wedding day was beyond perfect and it went incredibly smooth. My wife and I hired Mostly Becky to do planning and design for our wedding in Des Moines, Iowa. We both had recently moved to Des Moines from Chicago, so we had about 200 guests coming from out of town and wanted to ensure that we had a magical wedding for them to attend. Mostly Becky delivered. Mostly Becky's professional team met with us at every step in the process. My wife had a strong vision of what she wanted the wedding to be like, the vibes, and many of the specifics. They were able to make our dreams a reality. I cannot imagine a more professional, competent, and reassuring group to make the stress of wedding planning go as smoothly as possible. If you are looking to hire a wedding planner in Des Moines (or anywhere else that Mostly Becky operates), lock them down early.

My husband and I opted for the day-of coordinator package, and it ended up being perfect for us. Even though we were very organized, Amanda helped get us over the finish line the month before, and the day-of Amanda and Juliet really shined. Juliet also attended and ran our rehearsal, which was very nice since we had a friend as our officiant. Together, Amanda and Juliet really helped our day go smoothly. We only had a Maid of Honor and Best Man, so it was even more important to us to have help so they could enjoy the day. It was wonderful having the Mostly Becky team there to work with the vendors and do random things that I’m sure I don’t even know about (I’m told they moved the cutting cake table out of the way of some rambunctious children on the dance floor), to hold my bouquet and veil during photos, and to keep things moving on time. It really allowed myself and my husband to have a worry-free day and truly enjoy ourselves. At one point I heard our venue coordinator start to ask Amanda about an email chain, and I was able to walk away – I have no idea what it was about, and I didn’t need to. One thing I also want to shout out is Amanda’s help in the lead up – we were the first couple to have a plated dinner at The Prelude, and it came with some unexpected complications. Amanda helped coordinate with the caterers and the venue to figure out the logistics, and even though I was nervous going into the day I’m not aware of any large hiccups and I think that is partially due to Amanda and Juliet. They were also both just wonderful people to work with and I’m so glad we had our help on our big day!

Mostly Becky's team made our wedding day feel more like a party we got to attend rather than a party we had to manage! We were lucky to be paired with Amanda and Juliet for day-of-coordinating , and they were such an important part of our day. From coordinating with vendors ahead of time to Amanda literally letting me stand on her jacket to avoid getting my dress wet from the rain soaked pavement, we as a couple, family, and friends were all taken care of so well.

The Mostly Becky team was excellent. I hired them for the day of service and worked with Amanda. I appreciated that they went over the timeline with me and allowed me to give feedback for my wants. Also, they took the lead on contacting my vendors with it, which I so appreciated it.

On the wedding day I knew they were there but they weren't hovering over me the entire time.

The following day I mentioned to my mom that I don't even know if anything went wrong or if there were any hiccups with setup, vendors, workers, etc and that's kind of the point of having them. Maybe everything went totally fine, maybe it was all chaos behind the scenes...but I didn't have to deal with any of it and could just enjoy the day.

I don't think the wedding would have gone ad smooth as it did without Kari and her partner. Was very happy with them

We had the joy of working with Amanda from the Mostly Becky Team and by the start of my wedding day I felt like we were best friends. She was prepared for all calls leading up to the wedding and would respond right away to emails. I would 1000% recommend hiring Mostly Becky for your wedding. Amanda literally ran across a hay field next to the venue to ask the farmer to stop while we had our ceremony. She calmed nervous and gave hugs. She was the best and everyone in our wedding party was impressed with her. Everyone knew who she was, she was the real boss! THANK YOU AMANDA!!

If you gave me an ultimatum... to re-do my wedding day without my husband or to re-do my wedding day without Kari... I would think long and hard before I Google "Iowa annullment."

All jokes aside, I truly cannot imagine my wedding weekend without the help of Kari and her team. Throughout the planning process and the weekend itself, she had an answer to every question or request and that answer was more often than not "it's already taken care of." They were so responsive from the beginning, helping me choose the custom package that fit my needs from their unique ala-carte style packages (why pay for a full planning package with calligraphy if you don't need custom stationary!) and answering all of my silly questions along the way. Kari spent the time getting familiar with my vendors and my wedding plans and was such a resource for myself, my vendors, and my family/wedding party. She also got to know me and anticipated when I felt stressed about timing or anything else, always checking in to offer reassurance or a bottle of water, whatever I needed! She kept us on time throughout the busy day without being pushy, even corralling the groomsmen to be where they needed to be.

I could go on and on about how priceless Mostly Becky's services are, but I will just say that they are worth their weight in gold and will make your wedding as smooth and seamless as possible! Thank you Becky and Kari!

We loved getting to work with Becky at one of our Florida weddings!! She was great to communicate with leading up to the day and was just as wonderful the day of.
