I found the morning yoga class randomly through one of my wedding vendors on Instagram and I am so happy that I signed up a class! My two friends and I did the morning yoga at Old A’s the day prior to my wedding and it was one of the best ways to begin my magical wedding week. Not only were the views spectacular, the flow was grounded around self love and Heather was an AMAZING teacher. My friend was worried that with the headphones we wouldn’t be able to hear the ocean, but we could still enjoy the sounds of the beautiful surroundings while being able to hear Heather perfectly clear with the comfortable headphones. Everything felt super clean and safe because we were outside and Heather provided sanitary products as needed.
Would 100% recommend this yoga class and would have loved to have been able to book a private bridal yoga session, had I known about Yoga Big Island sooner. But the class alone was amazing and was truly a great choice to disconnect from all the wedding stress and provide myself with some much needed self love.
If you’re looking to do private group sessions or if you’re wanting to join an outdoor yoga class, this is the place to book! I will definitely be back for more yoga with Yoga Big Island!

If you are getting married on the Big Island, you absolutely have to do bridal yoga with Heather on the beach!!! It was honestly the most amazing yoga practice I've ever done. Heather is an outstanding yoga instructor for all levels. She led us in a slow and relaxing flow so we could all appreciate the day and be present in every moment, which everyone needs, but especially a bride on her wedding day! The headphones she uses are amazing - we listened to music while also being able to hear Heather lead our practice - we wouldn't have been able to hear her without the headphones due to the wind and ocean sounds. We thought the headphones might be disruptive, but they were the opposite! Heather also has an amazing, soothing, voice and read a beautiful poem that left us all in happy tears. Besides the yoga, she also communicated extremely well with me and is so fun to talk to and get to know. She even gave us recommendations on other places to go and things to go while visiting the Island. Overall, I wish I could give Heather 10 stars! You should not miss out on this experience while on the Big Island.
