Kayla was absolutely amazing, and I’m so grateful I found her online! I reached out just about a week before my wedding, and she was incredibly responsive and easy to schedule, even on such short notice. We did a trial a couple of days before the big day, and although I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, she worked with the inspiration photos I had and created a beautiful look.

Even though I ended up going in a totally different direction for my wedding day, choosing a more natural makeup style and a simple low bun instead of the full glam and intricate updo or half up half down we tried, Kayla was so kind, flexible, and thoughtful throughout. She stayed late during the trial to make sure I felt confident about the look and truly listened to what felt most like me.

On the wedding day, she came to my hotel to get me ready, and my hair and makeup turned out perfect, exactly what I wanted. I also really appreciated how she was able to go with the flow when I changed my mind about certain details mid-application. And as an added bonus, she spontaneously did my mom’s hair that day too, even though we hadn’t originally planned on it. My mom doesn’t usually style her hair, but Kayla made her look and feel beautiful, which meant so much to us.

If you’re looking for someone who’s talented, warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making you feel your best, Kayla is it!

Kayla drove through a literal monsoon to do my hair and makeup in a power blackout and it was PERFECTION. She was so easy to book with. She took all of my requests and used some of my own products that I felt most comfortable with (mascara and lip stain). Her work made my skin absolutely flawless. I wanted to look like a natural, upgraded version of my usual professional makeup and not ultra glam. She 100% did that. And she did it all without electricity. If that doesn’t sell you on Kayla’s services, then I don’t know what will. 

My best friend hired Kayla for her wedding party which I was in! I have had my makeup done before and never found an artist that could get it right. I am mixed Asian Hawaiian White and it is hard to find an artist that can do the right complexion and not make me look too Asian. I loved the way my makeup turned out that I hired Kayla to do my makeup for my son’s first birthday party. She came to my house and finished at the time I wanted it as I was on a time crunch. The makeup turned out exactly how I like it for the event that I was going to. She is also the sweetest person. I wish I could bring her with me to San Diego when I move but she is definitely gonna do my wedding make up when I get married, even if I have to fly her across the world.

Kayla and Deb were the most amazing team to work with for our special day! Doing a destination wedding, finding someone to make you feel your most beautiful can be tricky. They made the whole experience so comfortable and relaxing, making me and my favorite people feel our best the whole day! Kayla is hands down the most talented makeup artist. She has such a gift and a passion for what she does!

I can’t say enough kind things about Kayla! I’ll start by saying she made me feel so beautiful for the marine corps ball. I went simple with attire this year, making my make up the center piece of it all. She exceeded my expectations! I got so many compliments on my make up throughout the night. That being said, my make up lasted all night! Through hair and changing, cocktail hour, dinner, ceremony, and dancing. My make up was unfazed. Also! She made booking so effortless. She was efficient and quick to communicate. Making it a no brainer that she was the perfect fit for me. On top of being extremely talented in all forms of make up, she is the sweetest & funniest soul! My whole experience with Kayla is beyond the 5 stars. She is the best of the best! I now have a forever MUA & an awesome friend!

Kayla’s work is so stunning! I’ve followed her work for a while and found her through a good friend. I love how she can do the natural glam and also full glam and it was hard to choose which look would look best. Her makeup application was so natural and it stayed so well through the bright sun, even the rain when we got rained on, and still looked amazing in pictures. Can’t thank her enough for her amazing talent. Definitely would go with her again the next time I need makeup for an event

I absolutely loved working with Kayla for my wedding makeup. During the trial, she really listened and understood the look I was going for—and just as importantly, what I didn’t want. She was super responsive to small tweaks I requested and made them with ease. My makeup held up beautifully all night, even with the heat and humidity of our outdoor wedding. Kayla is kind, professional, and such a fun, calming presence to have around on your big day. I highly recommend booking with her—you won’t regret it!

Kayla is absolutely amazing! I’ve never felt more beautiful, yet she kept my makeup so natural and complimentary to my features—I still felt like myself, just the best version! She also did a fantastic job with my bridesmaids, flawlessly handling all their different requests and styles. On top of that, she was so patient and wonderful with my mom and mother-in-law, who don’t typically wear makeup, making sure they felt comfortable and confident. Kayla’s talent, professionalism, and calming presence made the whole experience incredible. I cannot recommend her enough!
