This is a 100% honest review!!

RESPONSE TIME/COMMUNICATION - 10/10:
I reached out via text for a quote and information on booking. Response time was within 2 hours and she answered all of my questions. She also asked for pertinent information from me right then before booking (how many bridesmaids, if I needed hair too, etc.).

TRIAL - 10/10:
I booked my trial a few weeks before the wedding at her location in pearl city. Parking was easy, location was clean and she was ready for me as soon as I walked in. She was happy to have my friend sit and watch while we all chatted and the vibes were great!! I will say - if you are a "natural" girly like me and have ZERO idea what you want in makeup, then THIS is the time to ask a million questions and ask to see your face the entire time LOL. I walked into my trial and told Manda that I didn't wear makeup and that I was open to her vision. The only thing I mentioned was that I liked my lips a bit darker and less foundation on my skin. She did a really pretty look on me but I didnʻt ask questions or ask to see the look throughout the process etc etc which was 100% my fault. She did ask about eyeshadow colors etc which I picked and she did a darker pink on my lips and told me to see how I felt about the makeup for the rest of the day and to keep notes on changes iʻd like to make etc. I went home and took some photos in the sun and though the makeup was beautifully done, it made me realize that I wanted something entirely different. Overall 10/10 for the trial because she did great, kept up the vibe, and the makeup was beautiful - just not what I wanted. I highly recommend having an idea of what you want beforehand, and even better to have reference photos!!!

WEDDING DAY - 1000/10:
Manda and the Hairstylist came on time and ready to work!! They only had 3 of us so it was nice to have a little intimate moment. Luckily Manda had a mini speaker so we could play music and really have a good vibe to set the tone for the day. I was so nervous to go over everything with her that I wanted to change lol I basically sat in her chair and said um yeah I want to change everything 😂 but she was so understanding and said absolutely, what are we doing? So I showed her my trial makeup we did (P.s. Iʻm sure she does a million trials and looks so itʻs helpful to have your own pics on hand) and I went over everything. Basically I told her I wanted super bold eyes and less bold eyebrows etc etc etc and even though iʻm sure she was thinking "what the hell are you trying to say" she still trekked through lol. She did mention that normally she doesn't show the bride the makeup the entire way through because you don't have that "omg I love it" at the end moment but because I was making so many changes and whatnot she decided to show me periodically to make sure I loved it. She also made me feel so good because halfway through she was like omg girl this looks WAY BETTER than the trial and you look stunning like bold was the way to go and then I felt so reassured with my choices!!! Bottom line, she rolled with the punches and by the end she SLAYED THE HELL OUT OF MY FACEEEEE!! Like no joke, the makeup stayed all night and everyone was in love with my look!

PRICE - 10/10:
For 2024 prices the bridal makeup was $145 and the trial was $95. The location fee (if she comes to you) is $75 (add $30 for hairstylist). This was an amazing price and totally worth it!!

I’m so grateful I found MUA Manda, hair stylist Leesa and the rest of her awesome team for my day! Manda is not only an incredible makeup artist, but her whole team is talented and extremely professional. I’ve been in weddings before where the whole timeline was thrown off and photos were missed because hair and makeup was late, etc. and it caused chaos and stress. My experience with Manda made my day stress free and fun. I had 8 including myself who needed hair and makeup, so Manda ensured there were enough artists to ensure everyone would be taken care of within the given timeline and we still had time for some fun getting ready/robe photos! Manda communicated ahead of time what to expect, timeline and tips before the day-of which was appreciated because I like to be organized! All the girls felt beautiful after their hair and makeup sessions, which were personalized to each girls preferences. Each girl got a little touch up kit to use at the venue which was great! The day itself was a little muggy and humid, but everyone’s hair and makeup looked fabulous throughout the night. Manda should absolutely be #1 on your list for a hair and makeup experience that is fun, stress-free and leaves you feeling beautiful and confident on your wedding day!

Mua Manda and her team took great pride in their work as they got my mom, mother-in-law, grandmother-in-law, bridesmaids, and myself ready for my wedding. Everyone looked so beautiful and the hair and makeup lasted throughout the whole night!! I was extremely pleased with the results for everyone and I felt like the team was giving everyone their best work. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again myself for any important event in the future!

Manda is not only incredibly talented but one of the sweetest girlies you could ever meet! I came to her with a general idea—but also no real clue—of what I wanted, and of course she worked her magic and gave me a look more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. My makeup was flawless and lasted all night through happy tears, hugs, and dancing. I felt like the most radiant version of myself, and that’s all thanks to her. I love her and would recommend her to absolutely anyone and everyone looking for a makeup artist who will not only make you look stunning, but also make you feel amazing.

I absolutely loved having Manda glam me up for my vow renewal! She was professional yet personal. She made me (as well as my best friend and mother in law) feel comfortable, confident and beautiful! Our hair was done by Meileen, she did an amazing job and exactly what we wanted! They both were so great, you won’t be disappointed!
