RESPONSE TIME/COMMUNICATION - 10/10:
I reached out via text for a quote and information on booking. Response time was within 2 hours and she answered all of my questions. She also asked for pertinent information from me right then before booking (how many bridesmaids, if I needed hair too, etc.).
TRIAL - 10/10:
I booked my trial a few weeks before the wedding at her location in pearl city. Parking was easy, location was clean and she was ready for me as soon as I walked in. She was happy to have my friend sit and watch while we all chatted and the vibes were great!! I will say - if you are a "natural" girly like me and have ZERO idea what you want in makeup, then THIS is the time to ask a million questions and ask to see your face the entire time LOL. I walked into my trial and told Manda that I didn't wear makeup and that I was open to her vision. The only thing I mentioned was that I liked my lips a bit darker and less foundation on my skin. She did a really pretty look on me but I didnʻt ask questions or ask to see the look throughout the process etc etc which was 100% my fault. She did ask about eyeshadow colors etc which I picked and she did a darker pink on my lips and told me to see how I felt about the makeup for the rest of the day and to keep notes on changes iʻd like to make etc. I went home and took some photos in the sun and though the makeup was beautifully done, it made me realize that I wanted something entirely different. Overall 10/10 for the trial because she did great, kept up the vibe, and the makeup was beautiful - just not what I wanted. I highly recommend having an idea of what you want beforehand, and even better to have reference photos!!!
WEDDING DAY - 1000/10:
Manda and the Hairstylist came on time and ready to work!! They only had 3 of us so it was nice to have a little intimate moment. Luckily Manda had a mini speaker so we could play music and really have a good vibe to set the tone for the day. I was so nervous to go over everything with her that I wanted to change lol I basically sat in her chair and said um yeah I want to change everything 😂 but she was so understanding and said absolutely, what are we doing? So I showed her my trial makeup we did (P.s. Iʻm sure she does a million trials and looks so itʻs helpful to have your own pics on hand) and I went over everything. Basically I told her I wanted super bold eyes and less bold eyebrows etc etc etc and even though iʻm sure she was thinking "what the hell are you trying to say" she still trekked through lol. She did mention that normally she doesn't show the bride the makeup the entire way through because you don't have that "omg I love it" at the end moment but because I was making so many changes and whatnot she decided to show me periodically to make sure I loved it. She also made me feel so good because halfway through she was like omg girl this looks WAY BETTER than the trial and you look stunning like bold was the way to go and then I felt so reassured with my choices!!! Bottom line, she rolled with the punches and by the end she SLAYED THE HELL OUT OF MY FACEEEEE!! Like no joke, the makeup stayed all night and everyone was in love with my look!
PRICE - 10/10:
For 2024 prices the bridal makeup was $145 and the trial was $95. The location fee (if she comes to you) is $75 (add $30 for hairstylist). This was an amazing price and totally worth it!!

I’m so grateful I found MUA Manda, hair stylist Leesa and the rest of her awesome team for my day! Manda is not only an incredible makeup artist, but her whole team is talented and extremely professional. I’ve been in weddings before where the whole timeline was thrown off and photos were missed because hair and makeup was late, etc. and it caused chaos and stress. My experience with Manda made my day stress free and fun. I had 8 including myself who needed hair and makeup, so Manda ensured there were enough artists to ensure everyone would be taken care of within the given timeline and we still had time for some fun getting ready/robe photos! Manda communicated ahead of time what to expect, timeline and tips before the day-of which was appreciated because I like to be organized! All the girls felt beautiful after their hair and makeup sessions, which were personalized to each girls preferences. Each girl got a little touch up kit to use at the venue which was great! The day itself was a little muggy and humid, but everyone’s hair and makeup looked fabulous throughout the night. Manda should absolutely be #1 on your list for a hair and makeup experience that is fun, stress-free and leaves you feeling beautiful and confident on your wedding day! -

I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to my incredible hair and makeup team at MUA Manda! My makeup turned out exactly as I had envisioned — Manda was so patient and attentive, taking the time to listen, make adjustments, and ensure I still felt like myself, just the most radiant version. And my hair? Absolutely flawless! I showed Leesa a picture and she brought it to life perfectly. I couldn’t get over how stunning the finished look was! Beyond their incredible talent, they also brought the best energy. From hyping me up to singing and dancing along with me, getting ready was such a fun and unforgettable experience. Manda and Leesa are the sweetest, most genuine duo — I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team to be by my side! -

Manda is not only incredibly talented but one of the sweetest girlies you could ever meet! I came to her with a general idea—but also no real clue—of what I wanted, and of course she worked her magic and gave me a look more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. My makeup was flawless and lasted all night through happy tears, hugs, and dancing. I felt like the most radiant version of myself, and that’s all thanks to her. I love her and would recommend her to absolutely anyone and everyone looking for a makeup artist who will not only make you look stunning, but also make you feel amazing.

You won’t be disappointed!
I absolutely loved having Manda glam me up for my vow renewal! She was professional yet personal. She made me (as well as my best friend and mother in law) feel comfortable, confident and beautiful! Our hair was done by Meileen, she did an amazing job and exactly what we wanted! They both were so great, you won’t be disappointed! -

I cannot recommend Manda enough as a makeup artist! From the very beginning, her communication was excellent—she was responsive, professional, and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted for my special day. She took on feedback and direction so well, ensuring that my makeup looked exactly how I envisioned it.
She made sure to check in with me throughout the process, asking how I liked it and making adjustments where needed. Her attention to detail and dedication to making me feel my best were truly appreciated. My makeup lasted all day and night (through happy tears and lots of dancing!).
Beyond her incredible skills, Manda was so warm and friendly! Myself and the bridesmaids had such a great time chatting with her—it felt like having another friend in the room while we were getting ready. She made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress-free.

Absolutely Amazing, Highly Recommend!
Literally the best! I booked with MUA Manda for Hair & Makeup and Manda & her team were all so sweet and amazing! My bridesmaids, my mom & mother-in-law and me (the bride) looked absolutely beautiful. My bridesmaids continue to praise about how good they felt with their hair/makeup.
I am usually really hesitant about my make-up because I work in the sun sometimes so my skin tones can vary and I don’t typically use much products. However, Manda made me feel comfortable and knew exactly what to do! She made me such a beautiful bride and now makes me want to hire her for photo shoots or other special occasions. I highly recommend MUA Manda, you WILL NOT regret!
The professionalism and quality was definitely shown. Her prices for both hair/makeup are so worth it! & the kindness from her & her team was amazing! -

Manda did an incredible job on my makeup for the Marine Corps Ball! She truly knows her craft and made me feel confident in letting her choose the perfect look for me. The results were stunning—my makeup was flawless, natural, and not cakey at all. Best of all, it lasted all night, and I received so many compliments!
Manda is not only talented but also a joy to work with. She’s approachable, easy to talk to, and makes you feel completely at ease while maintaining a professional vibe. I was beyond happy with how everything turned out. I can’t recommend her enough! -

Can I give a 1,000 + star rating? Because Manda is the absolute best. She did my makeup on my wedding day in 2018 and I felt like the most beautiful bride in the whole world. She does her make up in the way that I still look like myself, but better, and so glam, but what I pictured myself to be as a bride since I was a little girl. If I could keep the makeup on the whole night I would, it was THAT good!.This is your sign to book her once you pick your wedding date because she is the ultimate best! Getting glammed up felt like a bestie doing your makeup because she makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Manda is definitely THE best :) -

I absolutely loved working with MUA Manda for my hair and makeup for my sequel wedding! She was super responsive and showed up on time/early for our appointment on my big day! I loved that she was able to just come to my house and I was able to get ready at home before heading to the venue. The makeup lasted literally all day and all night despite the wind and a little rain lol. I was a bit nervous since I didn’t do a trial but I would hands down hire her team again! Everything was better than I envisioned and I felt so gorgeous on my wedding day. -

I was so pleased with Manda’s work, I wish I were getting married again so I could hire her again! Not only did she make me feel and look beautiful, but she also made my mom look beautiful! Came across Manda on IG and soooooo glad I did! She and the hairstylist that worked with her were very professional, very sweet and very helpful! They were awesome to work with, I highly recommend! I had no inspo on how I wanted my makeup done and ended up trusting her since I’ve seen her work on her socials, and she did my makeup perfectly! I loved it so much and it lasted through the sweat and tears till the end of the night! This was my first time getting my makeup done professionally and it was such a great experience for me and the ladies in my family to get all done up for my wedding 💖 Thank you Manda! -

First off BOOK HER NOW!! I got married on 9/19/2024 and booked her for both hair and makeup and it was the best decision i made! I found Manda through intragram. I live in NJ and my husband and I weren't making a trip to the island before our wedding so I went through A LOT of MUA's instagrams and profiles to find someone who's work was in line with what I was looking for. I have had my make up done lots of times for weddings and events and I know sometimes it doesn't turn out the way you want it to BUT I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER with how my hair and make up turned out. I have never ever felt so beautiful in my life. Not jut me but my entire bridal party including my mom. EVERY SINGLE person was so happy with how their hair and make up turned out. We had ages ranging from 5-74 and everyone looked INCREDIBLE. I did a trial with her 3 days before the wedding just so we could see if there were any tweaks we needed to make the day of. Communication with her was easy from day 1. She's so easy going (I messed up with the arrival time and she was so understanding and made it work). Her and her crew had such great personalities and vibes and fit right in with my loud crazy group. 10/10 recommend with ZERO hesitations. I promise you wont regret it and you'll look absolutely incredible for your special day!!

Absolutely adore Manda!! Very communicative, a good listener & she makes sure she gives you what you want. Highly recommend doing a wedding trial with her so she can get a base of what you want, so that if you want more or less you both can figure it out right there before the wedding day.
My makeup lasted all day even though I cried during the ceremony. Makeup felt light weight, didn’t feel like it was caked on. Five stars all around!! -

Manda was recommended to me by a friend and I could not be happier with my bridal makeup! She went out of her way to accommodate a last minute makeup trial which I appreciate so much. She is knowledge about skin care and all the products she uses. She gave me a gentle exfoliant to use the night before the wedding so my makeup would look nice and smooth. I have oily, acne prone skin and got a stress pimple the day of the wedding that she covered and blended out perfectly. I don’t normally wear makeup everyday, just a tinted SPF moisturizer so I really wanted my makeup to look natural. She really took into consideration my preferences for a soft, natural glam makeup look. She did convince me to use eyelashes that were a bit more dramatic than what I’m use to, but I’m glad I followed her advice because they looked amazing in all the photos! I felt so beautiful and loved my final look. I highly recommend Manda for any of your makeup needs! -

I recently had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Manda for my wedding.
With my bridal makeup trial, she took the time to understand my preferences and vision for the makeup look I wanted. I initially wanted something very natural, but after going home and taking pics of myself, I decided for the wedding to go more glam so that it would pop more.
Unfortunately, I fell on my face 10 days before wedding. I had huge scabs on my face from the fall. I immediately texted Manda and she assured me that she could cover it up and to just rest.
Luckily, by my wedding day my face had healed a lot. Manda knew exactly how to handle my makeup for my wedding day and did not disappoint. I loved the colors Manda chose for me and glad that I let her take free reign on what she thought would be best for me. The look came out better than I expected and you could not tell at all I had fallen on my face. A very natural glam look, and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. Not to mention, the makeup stayed on all day long and remained very natural looking. She also did an AMAZING job on all of the other bridesmaids and moms.
Moreover, Manda has a warm and friendly demeanor that made the entire experience enjoyable. She created a relaxing atmosphere, allowing me to relax and enjoy the pampering process.

Manda and her team was one of my favourite vendors of my wedding day. People say to hire people you like, and I understand why. After being hella anxious before my wedding, I really looked forward to Manda’s energy, getting to chat away in the chair, and - of course - becoming even more beautiful than we already were ;)
Manda and her team have a ton of experience with people of different skin colours/hair types. She can do soft/neutral makeup (see pics of my mum), or a more glammed look (mine). My makeup looked STUNNING. They say you should feel your most beautiful on your wedding day, and I feel like I really did! Not to mention the makeup lasted all day, despite humidity.
Manda’s response time was swift by text, her prices are fair compared to others on island, and her studio is conveniently located for trials. I recommend her! -
