In early 2014, Ylang 23 relocated its Dallas flagship store to The Plaza at Preston Center, a lifestyle-focused destination for Dallas' best dining and retail.

About the Owners

Central to Ylang 23's success is the vision of its owners Joanne and Charles Teichman. They were the first in the U.S. to offer designer jewelry in the mid 1980's, sell high-end jewelry online in 2000, and create a culture of unmatched customer service. Joanne and Charles have also discovered many designers early in their careers and supported their development and growth. They are involved in many industry organizations, including Couture and the Women's Jewelry Association.

The Teichmans have two children, Alysa, who resides in New York, and Jake, who is a junior in college. Their community involvement is deep, and they have been longtime supporters of organizations that help Dallas' neediest women and children, most notably the North Texas Food Bank and Family Place.

Why 23?

Joanne and Charles met on the 23rd, were engaged on the 23rd and married on the 23rd. It's the family's lucky number!
