We had the pleasure of working with Yew Productions for our wedding in Fall 2017, set against the beautiful backdrop of Stanford University and its iconic Memorial Church. Their work was absolutely incredible—from capturing the emotion and grandeur of the ceremony to beautifully highlighting the joy and energy of our reception. Every moment was filmed with care, creativity, and professionalism.

What’s even more impressive is the level of service years later. Nearly 7–8 years after our wedding (in 2025!), I reached out to request additional footage—and Jacob responded promptly and was incredibly accommodating. It speaks volumes about their commitment to their clients and the pride they take in their work.

Yew Productions definitely beats all expectations. They have been professional and worked with us to make our special day even more memorable. Yew productions is amazing! I am so glad to have found them on wedding wire. Jacob was so professional and accommodating from the first time I reached out to him to even now a few months after my wedding. He and his team are so professional and talented. My wedding highlight video goes above and beyond what I was expecting. It made everyone cry when they watched it. The way it’s produced makes it seem like a trailer for a movie. I’m not at all photogenic and I hate taking pictures and being in videos and that was my biggest concern for my wedding day, but the video is just so natural and candid. He truly has an artistic eye and I am definitely going to reach out to him for any other big events I may have.

Jacob was amazing! We couldn't have been happier. He's incredibly easy to work with - from the initial consultation on facetime through to the wedding he needed so little coaching or direction. He and his assistant were just nice guys - funny and low key. And they completely disappeared into the backdrop of the wedding, like ninjas! But the footage they got was priceless and perfect and the video and audio quality was flawless. The final product will definitely be the most vivid ongoing memory of our special day.

We were a bit on the fence about whether to have a videographer and were so happy with the outcome that we now laugh about our initial deliberation.

My wife and I watch our video 2-3 times a year on special occasions. It feels like our wedding story is a movie! We cannot get over how incredible it is still!

Ten thousand stars! From our first Facetime chat to our wedding day, Jacob was professional and fun to work with. We were so lucky that he and his assistant Ashley were available to shoot our Hawaii wedding just weeks before he moved from Oahu to the Bay Area. His work and artistry are amazing and the price is definitely reasonable for the quality of work we received! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to memorialize an event as it truly happens, emotions and all.

My one regret is that we did not hire him for all of our wedding celebrations; we held multiple celebrations across 3 states and point by point he is definitely a cut above the rest!

Because we are super type-A personalities, prior to choosing a videographer, my husband and I made a very specific list of things we were looking for and thankfully Jacob exceeded every single requirement! (Not all of our other vendors did, unfortunately.)

(6) Jacob is a ninja! Most of our guests actually didn't realize we had hired videographers even though they managed to capture everything that happened that day.

Yew productions filmed our wedding in December of 2015. Our wedding video fully captures all of the amazing and important parts of our big day. I feel joy, love, and I laugh and cry while watching it. I cannot wait for our future children to be able to watch our wedding day and I love being able to relive it. Every single video I have done with Yew Productions including my bridal one elicited the reaction of laughter, tears, and an immediate..."who the heck made this video??? It's so so good!!!"
