We hired Yes! Weddings as our D.J. for our wedding ceremony and reception and were soon reached out by Greg after we submitted our request online. Yes! Weddings provided professional services that were not only well organized but also flexible for the last-minute changes and considerate for our guests when some unexpected little "accident" happened before our reception that someone accidentally triggered a false fire alarm and all guests had to stay on the patio outside the reception room. Greg and his assistant moved all their instrument outdoor to keep entertain our guests with music without any complaint. They also picked up some very fun music for the dancing party that our guests really enjoyed. Highly recommend to couples who are looking for not just D.J. playing music but also someone that help hinge different parts of your wedding procedure.

We managed to secure YES Weddings just under 2 months before our wedding and despite the short turnaround time, they delivered fantastic service and FAR exceeded our expectations. Our initial calls were with Tauri, who was great at getting a feel for our event. We didn't need the usual full service, since we were forgoing a ceremony (we did the typical small, covid wedding in 2020). Greg was later assigned as our DJ and after a phone call to go over everything, we felt like we'd been heard and the night was in good hands.

The day of the event, Greg and his team showed up exactly when expected and were quick to set everything up. He was extremely communicative throughout the evening, but also knew how/when to talk with us. An invaluable skill when literally everyone is looking for your attention! He helped us facilitate the transition from cocktail hour to dinner and moved people through the line for the food truck we'd hired with ease. His announcements were concise, well timed, and clearly the result of lots of experience. Subtle uplighting was also set up as dinner wrapped, helping to move us into the next part of the evening.

But most important of all, the music throughout the evening was FANTASTIC. We used their soul/funk playlist during cocktail hour and dinner and I'd highly recommend it! It really helped set the tone and we even got a few compliments. Then came the dancing and WOW. I'd provided Greg with some general do's and don'ts through YES's wedding portal, along with a rough playlist to get our vibe across. He picked the perfect mix of songs, lots of great variety, and it kept people on the dance floor all night (which was a priority for us). Even better, Greg is fantastic at mixing and transitions, so that was a fun and unique element that got people excited for the next song. We got MULTIPLE people coming up to us to compliment the music, saying it was one of the best weddings they'd been to.
