I can't recommend Brooke enough!

Brooke was recommended to me by my officiant, who said that she's worked with her before and that she was excellent and down-to-Earth. That could not be more true! Brooke is sweet, extremely professional, caring, and you can tell that she puts her heart and soul into making your wedding exactly what you want it to be. The best part about Brooke is that she is calm. I was supposed to have an outdoor beach wedding and we woke up on the day of to 30 mph winds and 50 degree weather. My dad described Brooke as "the epitome of calm." She did not panic or fret, she pivoted and made the wedding 10x more beautiful than I could've imagined. Trust me, you want Brooke on your side during your wedding planning process. I hired her as a day-of coordinator but she made sure that I was organized and properly tying up loose ends during the last few months leading up to the big day. There is nothing that she didn't think of and you can tell that she is truly passionate about making the couple happy on their special day. She is committed to being your right-hand woman and making your vision come to life. Brooke not only has the wedding planning expertise, but she has also a big heart and genuinely cares. That's what sets her apart! The biggest takeaway that I got from wedding planning is that having great vendors really does make a difference. I thankfully picked a great team and Brooke was a huge part of that. My parents absolutely adored her and thought she did a fantastic job. Do yourself a favor, hire Brooke as your planner or day-of coordinator!

Five star Wedding Coordinator!

I can not say enough about how amazing Brooke is! She helped make our special day so magical and exactly how we envisioned it. Brooke came to our rehearsal to make sure everything went smoothly and then met me at our venue as well before the wedding. I was in a panic a few days before the wedding when one of my items wasn't going to arrive in time and Brooke let me send it to her apartment so that we would get it in time, which was such a relief!
On the day of our wedding, Brooke picked up chic-fil-a for me and the bridal party which was a great snack to have before walking down the aisle! Brooke worked with each of my vendors to make sure everything was seamless and I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator.

Mrs. And Mr. Breton

I met with Brooke Yee on a Saturday morning at the Hotel Palms coffee shop in Atlantic Beach. I knew right away that she was exactly who I needed to hire to handle our wedding reception. She came with photos and great ideas right from the start.
She has great vision and exceeded all my expectations! It could not have been any better.

Exceeded our expectations!

I can’t express how important it is to get a professional wedding / day of coordinator for your wedding. I knew from the start that we needed one to make sure everything ran smoothly (let’s be honest - there is only so much friends and family can do to help out).

Let me start by saying that I have a difficult time letting things out of my control, so finding someone that I could 100% trust was very important. Brooke and I met for coffee (pre COVID) to go over my vision and expectations, and let me tell you - I was over the moon! I called my then finance up as soon as I got in the car and told him the search was over & I found our coordinator.

Our wedding was scheduled for 4/11/20 & little did we know the world was about to change. Brooke was so patient and understand when navigating the challenges that came along with the COVID-craziness.

We hired Yay Day Events for day of management, but Brooke went way above what she agreed to in order to make sure we got the wedding we dreamed of. We were only three weeks away from what would have been our wedding day, when we made the difficult decision to postpone. As soon as we told Brooke the news she was contacting our vendors trying to find new dates that would work.

We got married on 6/13/20 and it was the most perfect day. A few of the wonderful things you can expect when hiring Yay Day Events include (but are not limited to); a very detailed set up. Brooke took my (probably terrible) drawings and instructions and decorated the venue exactly how I had imagined. She coordinated with all the vendors about drop off & set up times. She was able switch our outdoor ceremony to an indoor one in a matter of minutes (it started raining as soon as the bridal party was about to walk out). But most importantly, she made sure that my husband and I enjoyed every minute of that day.

Not only is Brooke amazing at what she does, but she is also one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. Everyone she came in contact with throughout the day only had nice things to say about her.

I could go on and on about how wonderful Brooke at Yay Day Events is, but I think you all should contact her for your wedding & figure that out for yourselves.

Extraordinary!

From the first time my daughter, her fiancé and I met with Brooke Ellis of Yay Day Events, we knew she was the one who could help us make their wedding dreams come true. We could tell that Brooke had the necessary expertise and experience and that it would be a joy to work with her. She was so professional and personable; I felt she would interact beautifully with our guests. We booked her Full Planning services on the spot and cancelled an appointment we had later that week with another wedding planner. My daughter wanted a romantic wedding with lots of flowers and candles, so Brooke recommended first class vendors and suggested décor ideas to create an elegant atmosphere and bring her vision to life in five months. At our meetings, Brooke welcomed us with reassurance and enthusiasm that was contagious. Throughout the planning process, she answered our many questions promptly and provided such helpful guidance. When I wondered what to do with all the flowers after the wedding, Brooke mentioned the possibility of donating them to a nursing home and she personally took the time and effort to deliver them on her way home from the wedding. Brooke and her assistant, Jackie, handled our unanticipated and unavoidable wedding day glitch with such calm confidence and grace that the bride and groom never knew and I could go home and get ready, leaving everything in their capable hands. Thanks to Brooke and Jackie and their hard work, we all were able to enjoy every moment of what truly was a fairytale wedding.

Wonderful wedding planner

After talking with Brooke the first time, we knew we had picked the right person to help us plan our daughter’s destination beach wedding. Being from out of state, we were unfamiliar with any vendors & Brooke did not steer us wrong with any of them. We suggested different vendors from photographers to caterers, florists, musicians, etc. From that we were able to choose. Brooke was only a phone call or text away & always responded promptly. She was able to calm our fears & nerves! Her calm, sweet demeanor is a plus in dealing with anxious brides & mom’s of bride. She was very organized & coordinated our vendors & cane to the rescue when there was a glitch on wedding day. I can’t say enough good things about her, highly recommend!!!

Wish I could rate YayDay with 6/5 Stars

YayDay Events with Brooke was one of THE BEST choices we made for our wedding day. My wife and I hired Brooke as a Day-of-Planner (she offers many packages for more in depth planning, but we only needed day-of). She met with us multiple times in preparation for the wedding, learning our style, our ideas, our plans and timeline, and reminded us of important deadlines leading up to the big day. The day of she shined - leading our staff of ushers and servers with clockwork timeliness and professionalism. We can honestly say Brooke is one of the leading reasons our wedding went off without a hitch. She tackled all the problems as they showed up and took initiative for solving problems perfectly. We will be hiring Brooke for any Jacksonville area events we put on in the future, regardless of the venue or type of event.

Helpful but Solo

She was helpful but independent. We were a much more hands on group that I feel she was used because she came to me after the reception and asked me to let her do her job (because we were packing items up). However, she was one person, we literally had a Uhaul plus two vehicles of items. There was No Way she could have done it alone. Then when we (the bride and groom) finally left my 72 year old Father in Law had to help her load the uhaul because she is apparently pregnant, which isn’t a problem, but I definitely felt she needed more than one person or allow us to help! She is sweet and helped with options , we just wish she had a team! Or backup helpers!
