When choosing our vendors, my husband and I agreed that the photographer is one we really wanted to make the best choice. We were referred to Alexa through our venue and our Wedding Planner! It was such a great and easy process when we first did a zoom call with Alexa and from that moment, we felt a connection to her and knew she was our photographer. We came up to Tahoe in April to do our engagement session and that was our first time meeting Alexa in person, she made the whole experience so fun, relaxed and a memorable evening I will not forget. She kept in touch with us leading up to the wedding, and on the day of, it was like we knew she had it all under control and we got to just be ourselves, enjoy our family and friends and knew Alexa was going a fantastic job. We didn't even know she was around at times. We got our "sneak peak" photos within a week after the wedding and they blew us away. She's a true gem and would hire her again and again! Thanks Alexa!

Alexa is truly the best! If I could give more stars I would. I had seen some of her work on instagram through different vendors I had followed in the year leading up to us planning our wedding, so when it came time for us to pick a photographer I knew exactly who I wanted to capture our day. Her work was perfection. She was the sweetest and easiest person to work with. When we had to change our wedding date due to covid, she was the first person I reached out to because I wanted to make sure she was available for our new date before we set it! She drove all the way out to meet me at our venue to go over everything weeks in advance, and then on day of.... incredible. So prepared and organized. There are so many things on your wedding day to stress about, but never once did Alexa make me feel like anything wasn't going to go exactly as planned. When she showed up, I felt like I had known her forever and made the process so comfortable and fun. (Especially for two people who don't love getting their photo taken, we had a blast with her.) On top of it all, the photos came out better than I could have ever imagined. Alexa, thank you times a million!!! I could not recommend Woodmancy Photography enough. If I did it all over again, I would be calling Alexa first to make sure she could be there!

Alexa was sooo amazing!! She came highly recommended from our wedding planner and we are so glad that we got connected! First, she absolutely killed our engagement shoot. She is a Mama of two little ones and still somehow managed to meet us in the desert at the crack of dawn for a shoot with a big smile on her face. We went off on dirt roads, climbed around different spots for the best shots, and did it all while giggling and getting to know each other. We loved our shots and she made us feel so comfortable. On our wedding day she handled our huge families and wild wedding party with a smile and grace and captured some truly magical moments! I don't feel like I need to say much about the quality of her photos because they say enough on their own (WOW!! Brb crying again as I view them). but I will definitely comment on her going above and beyond multiple times throughout our wedding planning. She met with us via conference call multiple times with our coordinator and other vendors so that everyone was on the same page, catered to our vision like a champ, and even DELIVERED OUR PHOTOS WEEKS EARLY!! Must I say more? She is such a rockstar and I can't recommend her enough

Alexa was the first vendor we chose for our wedding, and she was absolutely the best! With her experience, she was very helpful in referring other vendors in the area, too. She was so easy to work with. She is so quick to respond, and she made the planning process so easy! Then on the wedding day, she was the strongest person there! I cannot speak highly enough of Alexa Woodmancy Photography. My husband and I were married in June of 2020, peak pandemic days, needless to say there were a lot of changes and adjustments to our original wedding plan. Alexa was comforting and accommodating through each an every change. When all was said and done, I think the only thing that went original to plan was our date, Alexa took the changes in stride. She was flexible, accommodating, and beyond supportive despite the near constant uncertainty.

Alexa is fantastic! Because of the pandemic, we postponed our big wedding and had a small elopement ceremony. We were lucky enough to have Alexa photograph both our weddings in addition to our engagement photos. She knows exactly how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, creates BEAUTIFUL photos and is such a joy to work with! When trying to make decisions for our wedding day, the photographer was definitely something we were worried about. We are so incredibly grateful that we found Woodmancy Photography (Alexa) when we were searching for a photographer! We weren’t exactly sure what to expect and what the process would be like, but after our engagement photo shoot with Alexa all of our fears and concerns went away. Best Wedding photographer ever! She really captured the beauty and magic of the day, looking back over the photos makes me either tear up or beam with joy!! She did some unexpected things, like back lighting so the sun was shining from behind us through all the lace bridesmaids dresses while still getting the exposure right so you could see everyone’s faces. Really magical, unique, and surprising!

Hiring Alexa was the best decision we made for our wedding. We cannot thank her enough for making our special day absolutely perfect. She was extremely professional and it felt like having a life-long friend present on our special day.
