Great Customer Service

We had such a great experience working with Darleen when scheduling the Woman’s Club as our wedding venue. She was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and accommodating during the whole process and we loved the venue and what it had to offer as a package deal compared to other Venues around town (very flexible and well taken care of also). It was the perfect fit! Unfortunately, due to Covid, we had to cancel our wedding but even then, we were handled with grace! Darleen not only reached out to us but stayed in communication with us throughout the uncertainty of Covid and treated us more than fairly, despite the details of the contract. I’m extremely grateful for their understanding and our experience with The Woman’s Club, especially after the mistreatment I received from one of my other vendors during these times. I highly recommend working with them as a venue and will be returning to them if we decide to have a reception or anything of the sort in the future.

The Bakersfield Womens' Club is one of the prettiest places I found on my search for a venue. It doesn't require as much as many halls would to make it look nice and for a bride on a budget that was very important! They do have a laundry list of rules to follow, mainly because it is a historical building, but nothing too difficult to follow. The venue only provides the space and tables/chairs. The chairs are not very nice looking so I rented plain black chairs however chair covers would be great if they are in your budget. They allowed us five hours the day before to decorate and rehearse which made everything much easier on the day og our wedding. Ed, the person they have work at the events, is absolutely wonderful and always willing to lend a helping hand if needed. I highly recommend checking this venue out!
