Williams Tree Farm is an amazing wedding venue. Our wedding guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful it is (both outside and inside). It had a perfect outdoor space for the ceremony that comfortably fit our 185 guests and a great indoor space for our indoor reception. Ellie was incredible and helped so much on our wedding day and during the months before with the planning. She was very responsive and communicated everything we needed to know clearly. We highly recommend Williams Tree Farm to anyone getting married in Illinois!!!

We got married at Williams Tree Farm in July 2021 and can not say enough wonderful things about Ellie Williams and her team. From booking the venue in 2019 to actually having the wedding in 2021, Ellie was prompt in her replies to our questions, kind, patient, and a true pleasure to work with. She was integral to us having the wedding of our dreams and a drama-free day. We had originally booked our wedding for August 2020 but decided in May of 2020 to postpone till the next year. In a time of so much uncertainty, Ellie was calm and steady as we talked through postponement options and figured out the best alternative date for us and our other vendors. During our planning meetings, Ellie was able to tell us how other couples had done operated and what options were available, without things feeling overwhelming. Her knowledge and patience were much appreciated, especially since we were planning everything on our own.

Day-of, everything ran smoothly, in no small part due to Ellie’s planning and coordination. We did our own decorations and were able to store packaging and extra items easily on site. Setup and tear down with the vendors (caterer, DJ) went practically unnoticed by everyone. Ellie helped keep us on track regarding the schedule of events, as it’s easy to lose track of time during your own wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has a natural charm with exposed wood posts and beams and a lovely statement fireplace, all material from the farm! We actually didn’t do anything except table/surface decorations because the event hall was perfect. The farm is expansive and beautiful, and you have access to the whole property for your wedding photos. The outdoor ceremony site is everything we were looking for. It’s surrounded by lovely tall trees and a little waterfall, and is nicely shaded in the afternoon so no one sits roasting in the sun. Overall, we had the most perfect wedding and highly recommend you consider Williams Tree Farm for your wedding.

Such beautiful place to have a wedding. Ellie is amazing. She manages the entire process for you and makes sure your wedding is perfect. We had such a great day and our guests loved the venue! Highly recommend Williams for anyone wanting a memorable wedding.

Oh my gosh.. I have nothing bad to say about Williams tree farm. Had my wedding and reception here Saturday, the 12th. The staff were all wonderful, honestly. Ellie was a saint with me between my crazy family and changes. She took care of things when I was stressing. The place itself is beautiful. Wonderful outdoor ceremony with a fountain and trees. Can't say enough good things about Williams tree farm!

Our wedding at Williams Tree Farm was a total dream. The ceiling was strung with fairy lights that helped add to the ambiance and combined with the beautiful stone fireplace and the log-cabin style interior we had minimal decorating necessary for a stunning venue! Ellie was phenomenal and helped us every step of the way and always responded promptly. She was super welcoming and easy to talk with about our vision. She also made sure that everything went perfectly the day of- I didn't have to handle any of the details because she pulled it all together perfectly. Williams is the tree farm that I got my Christmas tree from every year in my childhood and it was so special to have it be the dream location for my wedding.

This venue is stunning and Ellie is absolutely incredibly helpful. I loved how responsive and attentive Ellie is. She was so organized, helped me plan the day, and was around for any questions I had. I never felt like I was bothering her and truly felt like I could have a wedding day with all her coordinating. She worked with our ceremony ideas and made me feel like my ideas for the wedding day were valuable. Williams Tree Farm even gave us a military discount since my husband is an active duty service member.
My day was absolutely wonderful and a huge reason is because of the beautiful venue with a great coordinator. Thank you, Ellie!

We can't say enough good things about this venue. Ellie is such a sweetheart and so easy to work with. You feel like you're talking to an old friend when you plan your wedding with her. The price of renting out the tree farm was much more reasonable than other venues, and several of our guests commented on how gorgeous it was and wanted to know where we found this "hidden gem". Having our ceremony & reception at Williams Tree Farm was the best decision we made in planning our wedding. It was so easy having everything in one place, and Ellie thinks of absolutely everything to make the day run smoothly. She even put chalk marks on the floor to show the attendants where they were supposed to stand during the ceremony. We will definitely be making an annual visit to the tree farm because we just LOVE what they did for us.

Me and my husband chose to have our wedding here earlier this month(May 2017) and we couldn't have been happier!! We chose to have our wedding at the Williams Tree Farm because my husbands family has been going there for years to get their christmas trees every year and we have continued the tradition ourselves. We worked with Ellie in preparation for our big day and to say that she alone met any expectation we had wouldn't do her justice. We thought we were booking our ceremony and reception but it felt like we got a wedding planner too! Ellie is the sweetest person ever! She knows her fair share about weddings and was always willing to help us out. We could have a question about something totally unrelated to the venue and she was there to help! Sending me an email back within the day!! Ellie was so kind, helpful, and very accommodating (esp the day of) Not only would I suggest for people to come here for their christmas trees in the winter but anybody looking for a ceremony OR reception venue I would very very strongly suggest that you also go to the Williams Tree Farm!! Williams Tree Farm is excellent! Very flexible and accommodating to choose any vendors you want. Ellie was wonderful to work with! Staff was available and helpful during set up and decorating, during the event, and clean up at 11pm-midnight. We could not have had a better place to get married and celebrate! If you are second guessing having your wedding and reception at Williams Tree Farm THINK NO MORE!! I can not stress enough on how AMAZING this venue is. It is so naturally beautiful that it took very little effort on my end to get our wedding exactly how my husband and I wanted. Ellie is the most accommodating and easy going person to work with...and for a stressed out bride that is exactly what I needed. She gave me her opinion when I needed it and ALWAYS got back to me with my hundreds of questions that were on going for almost a year lol. Being able to have my wedding and reception at the same place was wonderful, and not only that but the property for pictures was hands down AMAZING. My photographer and I were able to go around and check out all the neat spots we wanted for our pictures ahead of time so we didn't waste time doing it the day of. They have the most beautiful cover bridge, BREATHTAKING trees and the neatest cabin hidden in the woods. The cost was hands down the best in the Rockton area, and I was not "forced" to use vendors on a pre-made list. I was able to bring in who I wanted and what I wanted...it was truly OUR day. We were lucky that the weather was perfect and got to have the outdoor ceremony that we always wanted right in front of the beautiful waterfall in the back garden. Williams Tree Farm is big enough that having our wedding and reception there felt spaced out with all the different areas they had for us to use. The outside garden was set up beautifully for our ceremony, the spot right outside the glass doors to the building was perfect for our cocktail hour and the venue itself was perfectly set up. One side for out guests to eat and the other side was for our food. Once our caterer left our DJ had the perfect set up next to the bar for a night of dancing. Thank you Williams Tree Farm for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!
