Wildman BT is an urban-industrial wedding venue in Chicago, Illinois. Initially built in 1914, the building is a lovingly restored destination with a rich historical heritage. The property owners reimagined the space in 2020, recapturing much of its old-world charm while instilling a contemporary aesthetic too. Functional concrete flooring, exposed ceilings, and ample natural lighting are just a few of the venue’s defining features. Couples seeking an extravagant celebration will delight in hosting 300 guests for a ceremony, 400 guests for a seated meal, and 500 loved ones for a cocktail reception. Services Offered
Your rental of Wildman BT will include access to the venue’s various amenities and convenient service offerings. Furniture such as dining tables, chairs, and luxurious parlor seating is available to you and your guests. The in-house event manager will gladly offer their assistance in helping you set everything up according to your preferred layout plan. Your catering team has the option of using the venue’s fully-equipped prep kitchen. It has a private entrance area, allowing food and beverage easy access into the building. Absolutely loved working with the Wildman team. There were no hidden costs everything was discussed up front. The space was amazing, we got so many compliments on it! Did both the ceremony and reception for around 175 people and there was plenty of space and everything flowed easily. They worked so well with all of vendors and thought through everything

The venue of our dreams!!
We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at Wildman BT! The space itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, elegant, and the perfect backdrop for such a special day. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous everything was!
Michelle and Annie were amazing to work with from start to finish. They were organized, responsive, and so supportive throughout the planning process, making everything feel seamless and stress-free. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of and that our day ran perfectly.
We are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding here and couldn’t recommend this venue more highly. It was truly a perfect day thanks to the beautiful space and the wonderful team behind it!!

Wild for Wildman BT!
We were looking for a place we could host both the ceremony and reception that felt unique and matched our vibe for our October wedding. Wildman BT delivered that and more!
The space was absolutely beautiful and offered so many unique amenities including the projection wall which we used for our seating chart and to display our new last names throughout the night, the mobile bar called Honey with self-serve drinks, and the most beautiful bathrooms I have ever been in. It was clear that a ton of thought went into the setup of this versatile space from the gorgeous bridal suite to the amazing AV system and more.
Michelle and Annie were both wonderful to work with and were so helpful to us as we were planning our wedding from states away. They answered all of our questions, recommended other vendors, and were just the sweetest people. If I was planning another event in Chicago, they would be the first place I would call. We could not recommend Wildman BT enough!

A Perfect Venue!
We absolutely cannot recommend WildmanBT enough! Michelle and Annie were a delight to work with. We fell in love with the place immediately after seeing it for the first time, and the team made sure all of our questions were answered and our requests were addressed.
We were concerned that our 100-person wedding (ceremony + reception) wouldn’t fill out the space, but Michelle and Annie assured us that the headcount was perfect and even helped us brainstorm floor plans. Our final walk through with them solidified our plans and helped us feel at ease in the week leading up to our wedding. We truly felt taken care of and in good hands.
We’re happy to report that everything came out exactly how we wanted it to! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue is. We absolutely cannot imagine our wedding in a more perfect space!

Highest best value venue
WildmanBT exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From start to finish, working with their team was effortless. They were incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and truly acted as partners in making the space feel perfect for us and for our day.
One of the things we loved most is how ideal WildmanBT is for hosting an entire wedding day in one place. Each room flip was stunning, and our guests were constantly commenting on how gorgeous the venue was and how surprised they were that we were still in the same space. Every transition felt intentional, unique, and elevated.
The bridal suite was wonderful and easily fit our large wedding party. It made getting ready feel relaxed and joyful, which set the tone for the entire day.
Michelle and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were kind, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the planning process. Their vendor recommendations were also spot on and made the entire experience smoother, especially working with vendors who clearly love and respect one another. We cannot recommend WildmanBT enough

WildmanBT is *the* place to get married
We had the most beautiful wedding at WildmanBT - Michelle was super easy to work with and we loved the optional and available upgrades. We had a group of approx. 210, large stage props, a band, 2 food trucks, and large dance floor. We were worried about finding a venue that'd be able to fit all our people and specs but WildmanBT more than surpassed our expectations. It's the perfect mix of industrial and chic - we had highly personalized touches and wanted to be in the weeds on most decisions, which WildmanBT and our coordinator graciously accommodated for. WildmanBT was also a top choice for it's more square than rectangle shape which meant more people could watch the dancing from their seats and the bridal suite was top notch. The location is ideal given it's close to Fulton Market where we had our rehearsal dinner and hotel block for guests.

Amazing venue for our daughters wedding
We are so glad we chose The W
Wildman BT for our daughter's recent wedding! Michelle & her staff were amazing to work with. They made us feel special and confident that all would get handled! The venue turned into a magnificent space and just glowed from our candlelight and the beautiful sky lights as the sun set! Our guests cannot stop talking about this space and how beautiful it was down to every detail. Have not seen a bathroom so beautiful at a wedding and the Bridal suite was amazing as well. High;y recommend!!!

An Amazing Venue
Wow! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed having our wedding at the Wildman BT and working with Michelle and Valentina.
We instantly fell in love with the space when we toured and it really was icing on the cake that Michelle and Valentina were so amazing to chat with. They spent well over an hour touring with us and answering all of our questions, both at the tour itself and afterwards via email. I also really liked that they were not in the least bit pushy to get us to make a deposit and sign the contract.
Throughout the planning phase, they were extremely responsive when we'd reach out with questions. They were also very accomodating to us for several different things. One being that we had a food truck that needed to cook indoors, however, that is typically not allowed due to noxious fumes. Valentina made herself available for our food truck and planner to meet in person a couple of weeks before the wedding and work out a solution. Michelle was on vacation at the time but made herself free for a phone call to align on the plan. Another example is related to a beverage cart service that they offer at the venue. Michelle honored prior year pricing for us as that was shared initially several months before we formally booked the service.
On the day prior to our wedding, they allowed us to drop off all of our belongings (which was a LOT) and leave overnight, as well as host our rehearsal ceremony at the venue free of charge. The venue itself is gorgeous and serves as the perfect backdrop for photos.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend hosting your wedding or other event at the Wildman BT. Michelle and Valentina are truly world class.

The only choice!
We truly cannot say enough good things about WildmanBT, Michelle and Valentina. After our initial venue unfortunately fell through, they truly saved the day. We didn’t think we’d be able to find something else that checked the boxes and remained budget friendly, but WildmanBT ended up exceeding expectations in every way.
Their communication from start to finish was unlike any other venue or vendor. They were incredibly timely, thorough and friendly in every correspondence. Despite our never ending questions, Michelle and Valentina were always so patient and eager to help. They both went far beyond their duties to give us suggestions and advice when asked, make us feel comfortable with all aspects of our wedding day, and truly get to know us and our families (and our dogs!). We really could not have been in better hands.
The space is equally as noteworthy. The versatility allows for so many possibilities and ways for us to make it our own. It is so beautiful on its own that you don’t need to overspend filling it with florals and decor. Transitions from cocktail hour to dinner and to dancing flowed so perfectly. Our guests looking to be further away from the reception noise had areas to continue conversations while still feeling like a part of the party!

Would choose them over & over again
We had an amazing experience at Wildman BT for our wedding! This was the first venue we toured, and we quickly realized we couldn’t find anything as beautiful. The venue provides the perfect backdrop for our special day, and the open concept design creates a welcoming atmosphere, allowing guests to feel involved in the celebration, even if they don’t want to dance. Michelle and Valentina were incredibly easy to work with, making the planning process smooth and enjoyable. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly made a difference.
If we ever have another wedding, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose Wildman BT again. Highly recommend!
