Marcia and Christine, who run Wiggy and Steen, are a fabulous duo. They were our wedding day-of-coordinators and they did an excellent job. They were thoroughly communicative, thoughtful, and are very affordable compared to some other quotes we got in the Boston area, plus, they're two of them - which makes it an even better deal! We met with them last year and they were great at providing insight and asking questions to make sure we had all the information we needed in terms of logistics, vendors, etc. They know event planning very well and had great insight in terms of the "movement" of the event, like transitions in locations, in timing, etc. They had an online form to fill out which helped us think through all our details - they had questions on the form that we didn't even think of! We had a very DIY wedding where my fiance and I did all of the planning and decision making. Our venue did not have an event coordinator that would help with the actual day of details. Marcia and Christine were there to confirm the details the week of, help us with our schedule, and to execute on the day of which is key. They were part of our rehearsal, also. They kept everything on schedule on our wedding day. I heard from other vendors that weddings can run even late by a few hours! But they kept the event moving and made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and when everything was supposed to start, such as the speeches, first dance, etc. The wedding was perfect, like actually perfect, and I have Marcia and Christine to thank for that. They definitely do have a "whatever we can do to help, we'll help" attitude. Since our event was so DIY, they actually went the extra mile to help set up and clean up -- which is more than you can expect from most coordinators who may charge you for a set number of hours. They were the last people to leave the venue that night, which speaks to their dedication and thoughtfulness.

This crew has developed a great service and delivers it with a "what else can we do" attitude. From the start of my planning to the actual weekend I had everything I needed with amazing turnaround times and consistent and professional communication. The groom, went from being concerned that I had no idea what I was doing with his bachelor party to saying it was one of the best weekends of his life - and that was entirely the result of the plan that Wiggy & Steen developed and coordinate for us.

If anyone is planning a bachelor or bachelorette weekend and is thinking about asking for some affordable professional support I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They take what they do seriously - they are a pleasure to work with and recommend ideas I never would have thought of. I'm thinking about asking them to organize my yearly high school reunions with my buddies.

"The Best Man"

The absolute best investment of our wedding. We had so many small details that we wanted involved in our wedding and I was concerned about who was going to do them and if I could trust that they'd do it right (the way I wanted them, not the way someone else thinks they should be). When we first talked to Marcia & Christine, it felt like all my worries melted away and I could finally start being excited about our wedding instead of stressed.

When looking for a wedding planner, most of the people we talked to were either WAY out of our price range or they made me feel like a customer. Christine & Marcia made me feel like they understood that I only get one wedding, that I didn't want to be just a contract out of the hundreds of brides, and they made me feel like they're were as invested in the day as I was.

Not only did they do everything I needed of them, they went out of their way to do everything they could to make the day incredible. From make suggestions, to bringing things I forgot, to taking care of all our stuff after the wedding, they were incredible! They even went out of their way to pick up flowers that my florist forgot to order on the DAY OF my wedding, and when the florist lost the receipt that showed I had already paid for them, they paid for it out of their own pocket! Who does that?! Awesome people, that's who. They also drove 20 minutes to our hotel after the wedding to drop off a ton of stuff- something no other vendor would ever do. They really went out of their way to make sure I didn't have to worry about anything except having fun and enjoying the day, and that's something I'll be forever grateful for.

Summary: If you're looking for people you can count on- they will make you feel like they're part of your team instead of just another vendor. They really want you to be happy and not concerned about anything- Obviously, I would recommend them for anyone and any event.
