Storytelling is our passion, and we have countless hours of experience to support us. Yes, you could just have Aunt Muriel record the ceremony on her iPad or home camera, and some people do! Everyone has different opinions on what's important for their wedding day (as we're sure you've already noticed from friends and family). But Aunt Muriel doesn't have years of practice and technical knowledge behind her, and she probably doesn't have high-quality equipment either. If you are looking for a video that not only captures the events of the day, but the emotion of it as well, nothing comes close to having a professional wedding film.

White Tree Studios has been filming weddings all over the country for the past 6 years. Since then, we've filmed over 100 weddings, each with their own new challenges. On the day of your wedding, you want someone who has a firm grasp of the flow of a wedding day; not someone who just does this for some extra cash on the weekends. We're a small, personal wedding film boutique; not a big cookie-cutter, multi-city production company. We won't be outsourcing your work to whoever happens to be available that weekend, and we won't be shipping your video overseas for editing (yes, this really happens). With those 100 weddings under our belt, we have all the backups and workarounds to get you an incredible wedding video, no matter what comes our way.

Another huge part of hiring your wedding videographer is finding someone who you're actually going to enjoy being around on your wedding day. We've seen plenty of "professional" photographers and videographers who seem to think it's their day, rather than yours. We're not ok with that. Our priority is getting you a wedding video that you will love without annoying the heck out of you or your guests. No bright lights right up in your face. No ticking off the officiant to get a "cool" shot. If you honestly forget we're there most of the time, then we've done our jobs right.
