They weren't obtrusive at all, no one noticed they were there, and the pics came out great.

In the initial planning stages of my wedding, I wanted one of those "contemporary" photographers who did all of the artsy angular shots that look awesome to us twenty-somethings who grew up looking at photoshopped images on the internet. Those photographers all book weddings very early, and they're all charging a ton of money for outsourced printing and cheap digital kitchy photo quality.

When I met with and interviewed Don at the White Studio, he had no qualms differentiating himself from the "others" in his field. The truth is, when I'm 80 years old and looking back at my wedding- I'm not going to want a fish-eye lens shot...I'm going to want to see who was there, and the truth of what took place- not some trendy, pretentious artisting rendering.

I hired them on spot.

With the exeption of running a few minutes late on the day of the wedding, I could not be happier with my results. The photos are clear, honest, beautiful, classic and the arrangement of the albums is nothing short of perfect. They have a real eye for simple. artistic photography that captures the personality of the couple without losing quality. I applaud them for that, and would (and have) recommend them to anyone looking to have a wedding in the Albany area.

The photographer showed up to take pictures with film, NOT digital as was promised. The pictures were beautiful and they were flexible with how long we kept the proofs. I wish we could have kept all of the proofs or had a CD of all the proofs to easily distribute to parents far away.

Still have not recieved albums... Proofs were great, wish there were a few more candid group shots.

this was the worst decision ever made in history. this studio has a very good reputation and all we encountered was issues, attitude and irresponsibility. The first problem was that who we agreed would take the photos did not show up the day of the wedding, someone else did. The quality of the photos was horrendous for a professional photographer. I take better photos myself. The photos were blurry, off center and important things were cut right out of the proof (ie. the bride , groom, dress etc). We even contacted them afterwards with our concerns and were told there was nothing they could do and they looked fine. We never even got money back for the poor service.
