My wife and I made the attempt to have a destination wedding on the other side of the country during what ended up being a global pandemic. We went from having the wedding completely planned and everything good to go 6 months out, to having to completely replan the wedding top to bottom after deciding that postponing or cancelling wasn't an option for us. Faith and Whimsy Events were invaluable during this process. Faith attended site and vendor visits while FaceTiming us in and went above and beyond to make sure our event went off without a hitch. While we faced a more challenging road to the altar than we thought, we couldn't be more thankful that we persevered and made it through. Our best day ever was truly the greatest day of our lives because of Faith and her team! My husband & I decided to switch wedding plans with 6 months to go before our wedding day due to COVID restrictions at our original venue. Our “Plan B” was to have the wedding at my parents estate in South Lake Tahoe… we had no idea where to start or what holding a wedding at a private estate entailed! We needed new vendors & to transform the estate into a venue. When Faith came into our lives, it was like everything finally fell into place as it should have. We chose to do the Partial Planning package where she was in charge of a few vendors for us — totally reasonable pricing for all that was included! Faith specializes in private estate weddings which is why she was our perfect fit, guiding us through all the hoops & checklists needed to make this wedding happen. She recommended quality vendors who we absolutely loved based off our visions and budget, set us up with an incredibly organized online portal, was flexible with changing plans/ideas, and was great at communicating and setting up site visits with us. It was so seamless & she is so skilled at what she does. Besides making our vision come to a reality, our favorite part of all was that Faith & her team (thanks Danelle!) took care of every little thing on the day of & allowed my husband, our families, and me to truly enjoy the wedding day/weekend. I hired Faith for her month of planning/coordination package, and am so glad that I did! She truly was one of the best investments I made for our wedding. As an organized bride who does program management and formerly coordination for recruitment, I knew how important a day-of coordinator would be. Despite how much I could plan and strategically organize on a spreadsheet, I still need an experienced coordinator to make my vision a reality. Hiring Faith and her assistants at Whimsy Events was the best decision we made for our wedding. From the moment she met us and learned our story she was committed to progressing our vision - not her own or that of the myriad of people who had suggestions along the way. Jesse and I are not a very traditional couple but Faith embraced our uniqueness and made wonderful suggestions that acknowledged our individuality while keeping to our ultimate goal of a family centered celebration. She helped guide us through all the hiccups and obstacles that come with a wedding and a few bumps that just come with life in general and she did so effortlessly and with professionalism. I never felt judged as she guided me away from some eccentric ideas (bounce house INSIDE the museum we chose for the venue, not my brightest moment). On the day of the wedding she made me feel like she had everything well under control - even with a drunk bridesmaid who nearly missed the wedding entirely and losing every single activity I had planned for the little kiddos in attendance! She made sure my first look photos went off without a hitch and took some beautiful pictures throughout the day to keep me satisfied until my professional photos are ready. She really thought of everything and shared all her insights with both Jesse and I so we could both make informed decisions. I appreciate all her help tremendously and absolutely could not have had the beautiful wedding we were blessed with without her!

I didn’t know exactly what we were getting when my now-wife told me that we needed a “day-of coordinator.” And now that the wedding is done and went so smoothly, I’m not sure how we could have done it without her! Where do I begin? Oh, I know - WHIMSY IS AMAZING!! Faith and her staff were there for me during the whole process in a way that was hard to put into words. I live in San Diego, and my Mom is in Santa Rosa, so we knew we would need to enlist some local help. I am so glad we found Whimsy. Right away there was clear and concise communication and a quick but thorough process to get to know us and what we wanted. One of the things that is so special is that they were thinking about every aspect of the wedding, not just the day itself. I knew the venue, photographer, and food I wanted, but that was about it. Faith had a list of local vendors she trusted and all of them exceeded my expectations. Once hired, Faith handled vendors on the business end, and allowed me to concentrate on the creative. She had a minute by minute timeline for the day that her staff and vendors all had copies of in advance so there was no confusion. On the morning of my wedding, I was able to sit back, sip champagne, laugh with my girlfriends, and not worry about a damn thing. When the doors opened and my dad walked me down the aisle, everything was perfect. The day went by without a single problem - that I was aware of anyway! It was truly priceless. I am so thankful, the day was a dream. I truly do not know how we would have done it without Faith and her staff at Whimsy, she is literally family now. When I said goodbye to her that night, I said, "See you at Thanksgiving."

I hired Whimsy Events for the Day Of Wedding coordination at our destination wedding (we live in Sacramento, married in South Lake Tahoe), and it was the best decision I could have made. I’m a hands-on person, and this was a pretty DIY wedding, but realized I really needed someone I could task with setting up the reception at our chosen location (a local restaurant and brewery that has event space). While I have friends who might have been willing and able to take care of it, I really didn’t want to burden any of my wedding guests. I found Whimsy Events on The Knot, and after reading her reviews (and interviewing her as well as a few others), I was convinced to hire Faith. Faith was great at initiating communication, doing everything she said she would do, and was fantastic throughout the entire process. I was really impressed with the Whimsy Events client portal, which captures every part of the planning from guest list to day-of-decor. The big day came and I was able to focus on just getting ready and making sure I got to the ceremony on time - all other aspects had been planned out and Faith followed my instructions to a T. At the reception, she and Mary were great about ensuring we were on schedule for all the milestones of the evening - firm yet unobtrusive. I am super pleased, and will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs a planner!
