The most perfect wedding weekend

Getting married at the Westin Copley Place was the best decision we ever made. We worked with Gabe Campos and Nancy Nguyen, both of whom were absolutely amazing. Not only did they make sure everything went off without a hitch, but they're both truly just so nice and pleasant to work with. Every step of the process was so easy an enjoyable -- from the menu testing, which was a blast, to the rehearsals, beautiful hotel rooms for our guests (and amazing presidential suite for us!), to the stunning ceremony and reception space, we could not have asked for anything more. Getting married overlooking Copley Square (we used the Staffordshire Ballroom) was a dream and a beautiful backdrop for photos. The food was amazing and there were so many customization options -- late night snacks, champagne toast, chocolate covered strawberries -- it really made it feel special and nothing like a typical hotel wedding. Thank you to the entire Westin staff for making our wedding weekend so special!

Best day of our lives!

Our wedding at the Westin was amazing, the staff was very responsive and helped meet the requests we had specific to our wedding. The meal was loved by all of our guests, and the signature drinks we requested were well executed by the Westin. Leading up to the wedding, the coordinator was very responsive and helped bring our dream to a reality.

We had our reception in the Staffordshire room there and it went so smoothly and completely as planned. First of all, the location in downtown Boston is very pretty and easy to get to, and the room has a spectacular view of Copley Square. Better than any other location in the area. Gabe Campos was our coordinator and he took care of everything. He made the process so easy for us by coordinating with all the vendors, answering a million questions, offering valuable and honest advice and making sure we were always on track. He was friendly, kind and always professional. He went above and beyond his duties, and we received better service than we thought possible. We did stations (instead of the usual 3 course sit-down dinner)which is still fairly uncommon for hotels, and the Westin adapted everything to suit our wishes. The day-of event staff were efficient and quick, and again, everything went as we requested. The bartenders were so friendly and there was never a line - very important to our guests:). All of our guests remarked how great the food was. One of them, a professional chef, even told us how impressed he was with the food. We had our reception here because they do weddings often and they really were experts. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at the Westin. It was the best decision we made. We loved the location, the staff and the price. We looked at several venues throughout the city and were disappointed by the costs. Shauna at the Westin was willing to work this us to have a wedding that we both loved and could afford. Shauna was truly the most helpful and kind person to work with. The price is still high but for a Boston wedding it was way more reasonable than many other locations. The room was beautiful and being right in Copley Square was the best location. We loved everything about it including the free room we received for the night of the wedding. Everything was perfect!

Having my wedding reception at the Westin Copley Place was the best decision I could have made! The Staffordshire room was so incredibly beautiful, the views of copley square were breath taking. The food was absolutely amazing! my guests cannot stop raving about how great the service was and how delicious everything tasted! Both Shauna and Rosalyn were so easy and a pleasure to work with! I would absolutely recommend the Westin to anyone.

We had our wedding in the Staffordshire Room at the Westin. The room is absolutely beautiful with great views of Copley Square. We had 180 people and the room was the perfect size. The food was excellent as well. I was nervous after the tasting because I loved everything I tried and you always hear that at the actual reception food it isn't as good as at the tasting. Well this was not the case at the Westin. I'm still getting raving reviews about the food weeks after the wedding (music to my ears)! We did have a small hiccup with our vegetarian meal because the wrong meal was served at the reception, but the waitstaff was very sympathetic and helped get out other meals as soon as possible. Shauna Richmond was our wedding coordinator and I have nothing but great things to say about her. After our first meeting I was completely comfortable with her and trusted her judgement 100%. She set up lots of candles all throughout the room the night of and it helped create such an elegant ambiance. She was very responsive to emails and answered every question I threw her way. I highly recommend future brides giving the Westin Copley a look and don't be afraid of pricing - I was pleasantly surprised that it did not break the bank like many other Boston venues would.

Shauna Richmond, catering manager, did an exceptional job helping to plan our wedding. We live in Texas and only meet personally with her once. Everything was spot on! The food at the Westin Copley is incredible. Our menu consisted of Clam Chowder, Boston's best, Cesar salad and perfectly grilled filet of beef. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and attentive. The accommodations are top notch. The outside vendors she recommends are the best. Our whole wedding weekend at the Westin with family and friends was magical and that is all due to Shauna and her team of experts!

My wedding was hands down the best party ever thanks to our wedding planner, Shauna Richmond!

I would highly recommend The Westin to any future bride and I would ask for Shauna if I were you :) My day was 100% stress free because Shauna took over all the details, every single thing you could think about was taken care of.

We had people show up that were not invited and she made sure they got seated, we needed Nigerian food, she got the chef Dan Pogue, to blow us out of the water with his meal offering. All our vendors were taken care of, I never had to call them after I passed them to Shauna. My sisters volunteered to help on the day of, that was totally unnecessary as she had staff waiting on us including David who was wonderful.

The Westin gave me the perfect wedding, I could not have asked for better service. The food, the staff, the ambiance, everything was exceptional and if I could give them more stars I would!!

When we first went to the Westin Copley we met the wedding coordinator, Shauna. She instantly won us over with her passion for what she does and friendly personality. The view of the room looks onto Copley Square and is beautiful! Leading up to the wedding, Shauna was very responsive to our questions, literally for a year and half I emailed her back and fourth :) On the day of the wedding Shauna was not available to be there (we knew this ahead of time). The Westin staff treated us wonderfully from check in the day before. They obtained anything that we needed for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, their was a parade that shut down streets in Boston. Our shuttles to the church were late picking up guest, therefore I could not go out the main entrance. I got in contact with hotel security who took me out the loading docks so that I would not be seen by guests. I am so thankful for their help! The food was hot and delicious. I have been to so many weddings where the food was cold, this was not the case at the Westin. Best wedding food i've had yet and many of our guests confirmed it! The prime rib we got was massive, tender, and cooked to perfection. My only complaint would be on the day of the wedding without Shauna being present; it left for some confusion regarding the bar and setup of the room. My husband went to order a drink at 10P for the first time, and he discovered that our alcohol upgrades has not been met, like previously agreed upon, including his favorite scotch. The only other issue was staff cleaning up early, as several guest went back for their champagne toast and it was cleaned off the table. My husband and I each had a sip of our toast, and then never saw it again once we got up to talk to people. Overall, I would recommend a wedding here, the value and personal attention you get is well worth it. It was a pleasure working with the Westin Copley and Shauna in planning our wedding.
