Western Michigan University welcomes couples to host wedding ceremonies in the Kanley Chapel, a venue on Michigan Avenue at the school’s main campus in Kalamazoo, MI. There, ceremonies of any faith can be held inside this non-denominational or interfaith chapel, where up to 300 guests can watch your exchange of vows. Built in 1953, the Kanley Memorial Chapel features a distinctive architecture that looks modern but was modeled after the old basilicas. Built in the shape of a cross, this unique facility is located next to the rectangular clock tower, which is beautifully illuminated at night. Inside, the Chapel is decorated with student-designed artwork, which comes to life through sandblasted and stained-glass windows.
