Wentworth by the Sea Hotel & Spa

We got married at Wentworth by the sea hotel & spa in October 2025! We looked at quite a few places before deciding on this venue! I can honestly tell future brides that it was the BEST choice we have ever made! Catherine who was the manager took care of EVERYTHING for us, helped up go step by step and was able to make a very stressful time seem easy!

They connect you with a bunch of vendors through them that you can use for invitations, florals, and cake! Every single vendor was reliable and easy to work with, and everything that they worked on came out amazing! I was so happy we used them all! One of the highlights of picking the Wentworth was the amazing bridal suite that you can get for the entire day, we were able to do hair and makeup in it! (no other place we toured would let me do makeup in the bridal suite) & they brought in food and drinks and you had a personal attendant helping you the entire day!

We had our ceremony on the back lawn which was set up for fall and used the dock for photos by the water they came out stunning! Catherine and the team did an INCREDIBLE job setting up the ballroom, I gasped when I walked inside it was so stunning! We decided to drape the entire room and it was a wonderful choice it really added to the elegance! They took care of everything behind the scenes and I honestly don't think I had to worry about a single thing the day of. Everything went perfectly according to plan! The food was also incredible! My guests still talk about it! They also saved us appetizers from cocktail hour, and brought us up dessert to our hotel room that we didn't get to eat!

They thought of everything under the sun and made sure it was a perfect day! I cannot say enough good things about Catherine and her team! If you are looking for a venue that is classy and timeless and you want a team that will make your day go perfectly have your wedding at Wentworth by the sea hotel and spa! We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding experience than the one we had at Wentworth by the Sea. From the very beginning, our coordinator, Catherine, was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly responsive, always quick to answer any questions, and truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. Whether it was helping us navigate ceremony and reception logistics, accommodating last-minute requests, or offering expert recommendations, she made the entire planning process seamless and stress-free.

The venue itself is simply breathtaking. From the stunning waterfront views to the elegant ballroom and historic charm, every inch of Wentworth by the Sea provided a magical backdrop for our wedding. We had visited before, but we were blown away by how pretty it was seeing everything decorated for the day of the wedding. There are beautiful photo opportunities all over the hotel—from the grand front entrance to the atrium hallway to the solarium. If it wasn't winter, we would have loved to take photos in front of the historic hotel, on the lush lawn, and on the serene marina. Every corner of the property is a picture-perfect setting.

On the wedding day, everything flowed smoothly, thanks to the outstanding team at Wentworth. Our guests were blown away by the impeccable service, delicious food, and overall ambiance. One guest even claimed it was the best food she'd ever had at a wedding (the Chilean sea bass is out of this world)! The entire experience felt so special, and we are beyond grateful for the memories we made here.

We had the most wonderful wedding experience at Wentworth by the Sea and could not recommend this venue to other couples enough. Catherine Chapman and her staff were professional, communicative, and had our best interests in mind right at the start, from working out all of the last-minute details to staying in touch in the weeks following our wedding. They worked to ensure all of our needs were met – from food allergies to necessary photo breaks – and when we had questions or needed a last-minute change in our plans, they did everything they could to go above and beyond our expectations.

The biggest takeaway we heard from our guests was how amazing the food and beverages were, and we couldn't agree more. At cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvres were passed frequently, the appetizer stations were a hit and the bar staff was excellent at keeping the lines moving. At the reception, there wasn't a clean plate in the entire ballroom.

We also appreciated that the venue had great recommendations for vendors. From flowers to rentals and a band that kept everyone on their feet, we felt that we had the best team to support us and make our day look and feel exactly how we imagined.

We could not have pictured a more perfect way to celebrate our love, and the staff at Wentworth by the Sea made us feel like one-in-a-million!

Wentworth by the Sea was such a beautiful location to have our wedding, we got married on 8/2/24 and it was such a great experience, I highly reccommend! We worked with both Catherine and Katrina and they are both amazing. Katrina is an absolute expert and made me feel so at ease throughout the planning process. Both Katrina and Catherine are so kind and have such a calming presense, they were so attentive throughout the planning process and throughout the entire wedding day/night and made sure all requests were taken care of. Also excellent attention to detail!! The food was so delicious, our friends and family loved it! The hotel is so beautiful, the scenery really was breathtaking and all of the hotel staff is so helpful and accomodating. Looking back on our wedding day I have the best memories and I know that wouldn't be possible without Wentworth and Katrina and Catherine!

My husband Brett and I had our wedding at Wentworth by the Sea Hotel on August 10, 2024. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue for our special day! The hotel was gorgeous and full of character, the grounds were stunning and every staff member was kind and helpful. We working with Katrina to design and create our wedding day, and she was absolutely amazing! Katrina was consistently supportive, prompt and always knew exactly how to help create our dream wedding day. She always went above and beyond to ensure myself, Brett, our families and our guests had everything we needed. The food throughout the evening was outstanding and our guests raved about the little details Katrina and the Wentworth staff put into place. Brett and I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding, and we can't thank them enough for helping us creating the most perfect day of dreams!!

We hosted our wedding weekend at Wentworth by the Sea and couldn’t be happier with every single aspect. Katrina Williams, the venue coordinator couldn’t have been more perfect in her professionalism, timely communication and overall expertise in all things leading up and onsite the entire weekend. She was such a pleasure to work with, along with then entire staff all weekend. The food was top notch, the bartenders made some mean margs and overall the entire hotel staff were on point all weekend, always checking in and making sure we were having the best time and being taken care of. Jason, the GM was so kind and made sure we were happy with everything. All of our guests absolutely loved the accommodations and were appreciative of the fact we could all stay together at the same place and everything we could possible need or want was right there. I would highly recommend The Wentworth for any event you are hosting or even just a nice weekend get away. A beautiful place with top notch service and staff. We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Wentworth by the Sea in June 2023, and had an incredible experience. Throughout the whole process Katrina was was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful, both the stunning ballroom & impeccably kept gardens were the perfect backdrop for our day.

The staff was incredibly professional, and they added special touches throughout the weekend that made our celebration truly unforgettable. Despite some rain early in the day, the valets, bellmen, and staff worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone, especially the older women and the bride, were comfortable and taken care of. Katrina was able to quickly and flawlessly pull together our sunny garden ceremony in the afternoon after said rainstorms.

Our guests were blown away by the fantastic food & staff ensured the bride & groom had food & drink throughout the night. The farewell breakfast we hosted the next day was the perfect end to the weekend, with exceptional food and attentive service once again.

Katrina was amazing. I work with a lot of wedding/event coordinators for my job and Katrina was by far the best. She was so organized and had everything ready at the drop of an hat. Her calm demeanor really helped any nerves I would have had.

We got married at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in November 2023. We had a wonderful experience from the planning stages to enjoying the weekend itself! The hotel is a beautiful location for a wedding. Given the time of year we only took advantage of the indoor amenities. Both the Grand and Wentworth Ballroom were beautiful locations for the ceremony and reception. Everything flowed together nicely, and Katrina helped to make the entire experience as stress free as possible. We used many local vendors who were very familiar with the Wentworth which also added to the ease of planning, as Katrina and many of our vendors work together often. The majority of our guests stayed on the property as well and enjoyed the comfortable rooms. The bridal party spent the morning of the wedding getting ready in the Townhouse suites which was super helpful to have the kitchen and lots of natural light being on the water. All the food was delicious and the hotel bar is a great spot to continue the celebration! If you're looking for a timeless venue that creates a destination wedding vibe, Wentworth by the Sea is a great choice.

I am so thankful that we chose the Wentworth by the Sea as our wedding venue. The service, attention to detail, staffing, the ballroom, etc etc were all amazing and everything looked incredibly beautiful. They really outdid themselves with capturing the vision I wanted and ensuring it was everything I expected. We loved the Wentworth so much that we’re going to celebrate our 1st anniversary as a married couple there. I highly recommend!
