Do yourself a favor, hire them now! My wife and I wanted a destination wedding without the hassle of working through all the logistics and difficult planning ourselves. Not only was THIS made reality, but on the planning side, things could NOT have gone better. We started contact with our coordinator around 6+ months out. And every time we talked she provided thoughts and ideas when they were needed but was equally open to our input and ideas on how we make this day OURS. Which brings me to THE day. Everything went EXACTLY as planned. The smallest of details were handled with the utmost care. We didn't have to worry about a thing! Everything was as it was described. There were no surprises, no let-downs, no "I wish we'd thought of THAT." Flawless execution. I am 100% recommending their services. In addition, the companies they partner with from the transportation to the photographer are top notch pro's. If you want the complete worry-free package, you've found it. Trust me.

My husband and I were recently married at Magens Bay in St. Thomas. We live in Wisconsin so of course I had a lot of questions and quite a few changes due to it being a destination wedding. Erica was able to answer every question and/or request we had. We had a vision of our perfect wedding and Erica made it happen! She’s so kind and professional and I’d highly recommend her to anyone getting married in St. Thomas. 💜

We hired Erica for my daughter's wedding on 6/7/19 and she was professional, detailed, creative, warm, friendly and experienced. She managed every little detail from the planning, wedding license, flowers, music, cake, beach alter and seating, and officiant. She supported my daughter through the pre-anxiety wedding planning emotions all the way through the ceremony. If we could, we would rate Weddings the Island Way much higher, but we could only give them a 5/5. We gave our travel agent a list of visions/wants/needs and she shared them all with Erica. We never actually came into communication with Erica until meeting her on the cruise port in St. Thomas an hour before our wedding. However, the minute we saw each, we greeted each other with great big hugs and kisses! It was like she was a cousin and/or friend and we have known each other forever. She drove us to the courthouse, while our guests went to Lindquist Beach via transportation Erica arranged for our guests. It was a HOT St. Thomas July day and refreshing water bottles were provided to everyone on the way to the wedding. Once we set foot onto the beach we got teary-eyed. It was EVERYTHING we envisioned; from the colors, to the location, décor; minister, etc. Erica knew us without knowing us; she was delightful to work with the day of the wedding and everyone she hired for us (steel pan player, photographer, minister, cake baker, caterer, bus drivers) worked with us and were all extremely pleasant. Our wedding was literally like something you only see in professional photos on the internet; in our eyes, it was perfect in every sense! We did had a hiccup with our plans; originally we were suppose to get married at Magen's Bay. We were very disappointed when we found out it wasn't going to be possible but once Erica explained to us why, she quickly had a back-up plan! She went to Lindquist Beach, took pictures from her phone to show us what Lindquist Beach looked like. It was comparable to Magen's Bay and end of the day, we became Mr. & Mrs. in St. Thomas, where we wanted our wedding to happen.
We felt like our wedding was the most beautiful beach wedding ever and we also felt as if we left that day with a new set of St. Thomas friends! Erica, Juliet, Rudy, and Angela, we are going to hit you up next time we are in St. Thomas!!! Erica, can't THANK YOU enough!

The cruise line changed our itinerary b/c of a possible hurricane......having us arrive in St. Thomas A DAY LATER! The staff was great! They were able to make the changes and it appeared seamless. The photographer was awesome. Our official was great and allowed us to modify the vows to suit us. I highly recommend this organization.

I cannot say enough great things about the process of putting together my big day and the woman who made it all happen! Erica was able to accommodate every request I dreamt up and had a lot of great ideas to bring to the table as well. She made my fairytale wedding come to life and we could not have asked for a better person to do so!

I used Erica for my June wedding at Magen's Bay on St. Thomas. Everything about the experience was amazing. I had a pretty simple ceremony with an arch, bouquet, and table set up with a small cake a champagne for a toast. I sent pictures from Pinterest to match for the arch and bouquet, and both turned out fabulous. Erica answered all of my emails promptly and made sure I was happy with the progress we were making in the planning- though I didn't have to do much! I would refer Weddings the Island Way to everyone!

I would rate Wedding the Island Way higher if I could. Booking a wedding and leaving most of the planning to people you have never met was very scary at first. But Erica and Angela made it work so simple. My wedding was like a fairy tale, perfect in every way. I let them pick the flowers and colors and asked their opinion on everything and I am so glad I did. Looking for a perfect wedding, definitely call Wedding the Island Way. Not only will you walk away with a magical wedding day but also you will feel like you leave with friends on the island.

If you want the best wedding ever possible -Angela and Erica are the ONLY way to go! They were perfectly amazing and delivered the wedding of our dreams with the grace and poise that only people that truly care can. These ladies are not only phenomenal at what they do but truly great people. The vendors they work with are also spectacular. Tim Root was especially awesome and works flawlessly with these beautiful ladies. Our cake from island sweet stuff was raved about by all our guests as well as our the delicious food and drinks from Passion Fruit Chefs. We couldn't imagine trusting such a special day to anyone else on the island! You can't go wrong with Weddings the Island Way!
