Roberta "Bobbi" Scherrer, is the coordinator for "Wedding Ministers 4You" a group of 6 Ministers in the California Central Valley. We are a non-denominational, non-judgmental, English and/or Spanish, LGBTQ friendly, group of Wedding Ministers Many have been Ministers since 1976.

We help you plan Your SPECIAL DAY. We meet with you the couple, listen to your DREAMS. We discuss Themes, Vows, Location, and Special Ceremonies you may want so that together your Wedding can happen just your Way.

We:

• Are your Resource persons, Encouragers, Advisors and the Officiants of your wedding
• Honor and respect all beliefs and traditions, whether religious, spiritual, or secular
• Come with professional experience, a gentle and enthusiastic spirit, and some spunk!
• Remind you that you two must buy your Marriage License from a County Clerk
• Especially enjoy renewing Wedding Vows!

We arrange an appointment for a Pre-Wedding Meeting with you and your Partner. We also discuss the language for the ceremony: English, Spanish or both. At this meeting, it is usual to provide a deposit of 50% of the fee so we Save-The-Date for you.

We can travel to meet with you to discuss what you have already completed and may offer some topics that may be of assistance to you. Or we can work with you on-line as much as possible. We discuss your venue; how the wedding will be held; how you want it situated; and the seating arrangements.

When we discuss vows, we share our Basic Vows and explain the two areas that, as a Wedding Minister in California, must be performed. The rest of the ceremony can be changed or modified to fit your dreams. Poems, prayers, special ceremonies, and personal vows to tell each other what is in your heart are encouraged. We welcome artistic additions in the ceremony. Many other topics may be discussed. Our basic fee is $250 to $300. We do offer discounts to active Military personnel and Seniors. Understand the possibility of additional fees will be based on distance and lodging if necessary.

Minister Insurance: Because we are a group of 6 like-minded Ministers, should your planned-on Minister become ill or incapacitated, there will usually be one of us available to perform your ceremony on the date and time as planned. Give us as much notice as possible and we will do our best to be there and carry on to make it . . .
